* There were a lot of impressive players at the event. We can’t be there for every great play or great performance so this is strictly based on our observations from the event.

Miller was flat out electric at the Grit Region Memorial Classic. He led an impressive Bates Fundamentals team that had scorer and athletes for days. Miller pushed the pace for a team that wanted a high energy open floor game. His offensive numbers weren’t staggering, but that’s part of what was great about his weekend. Miller scored in a variety of ways from creative finishes to put backs to jumpers. He could have averaged over 20 points a game, but instead was willing to share the ball.
Lyles absolutely exploded at points at the Prep Hoops Circuit event. In one game, he had an eye-popping 39 points. Lyles had the look of a high major guard prospect in that game. He has a next level frame and the strength to go with it. Lyles can get to them rim, keeping his elbow up and shoulder low protecting the ball on his way. His jumper was pure and he consistently hit big shots from beyond the arc. Lyles showed an excellent skill set and a tremendous upside that will have me keeping up on his development.

Duke made a statement at the Grit Region Memorial Classic. He might have been the best slashing guard that I saw at the event, taking full advantage of his very underrated overall athleticism. Duke founds lanes to the rim and cut from the wing as well as the baseline, both leading to buckets at the rim. He was also able to turn defense into offense, forcing turnovers and beating his opponents down the floor to finish in transition.
Lincoln Holler
Lincoln Holler
Holler is very deserving of a spot on the 1st Team All-Tournament squad. He was one of the better pure shooters at the event, averaging over 17 points per game in the 3 contests that I caught a piece of. He wasn’t just a shooter over the weekend. He was more of a big shot maker and big shot taker. Holler seemed to have a knack for getting hot in key moments of the game. He could definitely be a high impact shooter in July.
Kaleb Russ
Kaleb Russ
Russ was an elite scorer at the Prep Hoops Circuit event in Columbus, Ohio. He could definitely shoot with range extending beyond the arc. But Russ was at his best when he put the ball on the floor and attacked the basket. He had a quick first step and took good angles at the rim. Russ was solid finishing through contact and was able to get shots up in a crowded lane. He had a knack for drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. Russ could be a dynamic scorer to watch this July.
