Kaden Herman (East Hamilton) added a new Bryan College offer this week, which inspired a look back at his 2022-2023 season highlights. Kaden is an outgoing senior guard. He is very, very quick. Herman can accelerate and decelerate at a high level. Catch-and-shoots decently. His outside shot is quick enough to get off, but his release point is a little lower than ideal.

This [player_tooltip player_id='1939813' first='Bryce' last='Dupre'] evaluation came from a Fastbreak AAU appearance in April. Dupre looks like a taller guard. He might be a current small forward, maybe? Dupre showed the ability to be a catch-and-shoot guy. Needs to develop quicker feet, especially on defense. He was just added to the 2024 rankings, but will not appear until the next 2024 Update.

Years ago [player_tooltip player_id='1259390' first='Rodney' last='Henderson'] was named Top Young Player at a PrepHoopsTN Combine event. Since then, Rodney has improved consistently. This Film Room undertaking for Rodney harkens back to a Tyner Academy versus Alcoa game. Henderson hit several three-pointers. Shooting and hitting three-pointers was THE most glaring weakness when Rodney first appeared to our watchful eye and it remains one of his weaker skills, but this was nice to see. Remember Alcoa is not a slouch of a team. They did win the State Tournament.

While watching a Tyner Academy versus Alcoa game, I noticed a [player_tooltip player_id='1944939' first='Biship' last='Smith'] cameo. Biship is a guy I heard about in passing months back. He is a shorter combo guard, maybe 6-foot-0. He can shoot from the outside. Decent quicks. This was really a first impression, maybe second.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560719' first='Trey' last='Pearson'] (Brad Bearl Elite) traveled way out to Phoenix for the weekend. Pearson is currently a Top 10 player in the Class of 2026. In a highlight package, Pearson shows off some unconventional dribbling with hesitations that befuddled the defense. He shot ok incorporating a nice, evolving pull-up. Pearson looked to be quite enthusiastic with the hard-charging Brad Beal Elite experience. Brad Beal Elite keeps trying to get into Nashville to recruit AAU players, and they are doing it quite well: Darius Garland, Brandon Miller, [player_tooltip player_id='1145719' first='Tyler' last='Tanner'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560719' first='Trey' last='Pearson'].
