Tennessee Shockers 2026 team looked solid throughout the entire weekend of the Prep Hoops Bluff City Blues AAU Tournament at the Perfect Seven Sports Academy in Memphis, Tennessee.

Here are 5 things that stood out:

Passing

The ball movement didn't stop in Sunday's win over Tennessee Brigade 2026. The ball just kept moving and moving and moving. No player for the Shockers stood in one spot on the court. The ball movement kept TN Brigade 2026 on high alert as the Shockers had multiple playmakers and scorers on the floor. The Shockers recorded 16 assists, and it was a testament to the group's unselfishness and willingness to not settle for a lot of iso situations.

Pace

The Shockers controlled the pace in Sunday's win from start to finish. Each time the basketball came off the rim on the defensive end, a Shockers player was there. Whether it was Hudson McKnight, Jackson McCutcheon, or Jake Harney pushing the basketball, the Shockers had a lot of great looks in transition. There weren't many possessions where the Shockers took a bad shot.

Defense

The Shockers' defense was just as impressive as the ball movement. They forced TN Brigade 2026 into 20 turnovers.

Taking care of it

The Shockers took great care of the basketball, turning it over just eight times. Any time a team has less turnovers than its opponent, it puts its itself in great position to win a ball game. The Shockers did just that.

Balanced scoring

[player_tooltip player_id='1923548' first='Jackson' last='McCutcheon'], a 5-foot-9 guard, led the Shockers with 22 points. Chris Johnson, a 6-4 guard/forward, finished with 11, and Blake Surratt added 10. This team made things easy for itself on offense because of patience and communication.
