Qadir finished up his first year of varsity in the CHSAA averaging 16 ppg. Add in double figure rebounds he produced nightly double-doubles. An athletic shot blocker was able to gain control off of his blocks. Strong finisher in the post. Displayed the ability to score around the rim with either hand. The CHSAA had plenty of high caliber players and Qadir younger than most he was facing battled and won alot of the individual battles. A big reason for St Peters impressive record. Should have D1 offers in hand by end of summer.
Extremely quick guard who can finish through contact. Quick first step gets him into the lane with a strong dribble. He is long and an athletic finisher. Can shoot it from beyond the arc. Also has developed a nice pull up game making him a three level scorer. Outstanding vision and awareness. Can distribute or score equally effective. Uses his length and lateral foot speed to guard the ball. A D1 talent who programs should get on sooner then later.
Braylan is ready to take off in his game. A player who impacts the game in many ways. Strong rebounder on both ends of the floor. Good post defender who also uses his strength to guard the ball on the wing. Can hit the open three. A workhorse in the paint cleaning up misses. Has a soft touch 15 feet and in. Smooth looking jumper. Really effective catching the ball at the high post and shooting it or getting to the rim.
There are a couple of players if you haven’t contacted their coaches yet you better get that text message in. O is one of them. He was very good early in the season but as he gained experience and confidence he started to show the potential to take over games. A strong body post defending the rim. Clears space and rebounds the ball with strength and size in traffic. Can score with a quick spin in the post or with strength. Has shown the ability to shoot the three which will make defending him even harder. The three ball comes out of his hand with good arc and soft touch. Tremendous talent still getting better.
Averaged 20 ppg doing it multiple ways. Using footwork inside, muscling it up, or stepping out and shooting it. Gets to the rim off the wing or the high post with 2-3 dribble drive. A strong bodied player uses his strength to gain and hold position. Good defender in the interior. Really good player who still has even more potential.
He is a freshman in a man’s body. Tremendous athletic body. Has great lift on his jumper. Uses his strength to get to the rim. Very good getting his perimeter shot off the bounce. Outstanding first step getting into the lane and hitting his potent pull up. Strong defender and rebounder. Tough physical player who has CHSAA POY potential.
Jaiden names doesn’t come up on other sites and other publications as much as it should. But the CHSAA coaches know of him. A small quick guard with an excellent handle. Handles either guard position equally effective, Deals with double teams and pressure constantly and was still able to get 18 ppg. An outstanding pull up jumper off the bounce. Can shoot it getting into the lane or off the baseline. Has deep range. Changes direction well in the open floor. Can position his body to score off of bugger defenders.
