Kayden is a lefty, shooter with deep range out to three and a smooth jump shot that translates to the mid-range game. As he matures into his game I can see him learning how to move without the ball in hand to create more opportunities to display that beautiful shot. He relies on his length to get deflections and pressure the ball on defense. Which is very effective in creating turnovers but in the half court he needs to improve lateral feet quickness in order to keep the ball in front of him. Great prospect with huge upside considering he is performing on a high level while still young.
Jaylen Washington Jaylen Washington 5’9″ | PG Dynamic Prep | 2024 State #293 Nation TX class (2024) |5-9| Lake Highlands HS
A shifty point guard with a great handle and court vision to match. His range extends out beyond the three point line thus making his quickness to the basket that much more difficult for a defender to deal with. Also he is able to utilize the pick and roll properly by knowing when to extend or the corner, which is going to be vital to success on the next level. Coming into this summer I would like to see him work on his mid-range game more. Adding the pull up 15 footer and floaters will create better passing lanes and prevent damage to his body. He teams with the number player in the class in Tre Johnson Tre Johnson 6’5″ | SG Link Academy | 2024 #4 Nation MO and the two are readying for a state title.
Isaac Williams Isaac Williams 6’2″ | PG Oak Cliff Faith Family | 2024 State #267 Nation TX Class (2024) |6-1| Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff
This kid’s talent exceeds his ranking or lack thereof. His ability to use his wide shoulders and not shy away from contact is a skill that is rare in this generation of ball players. Very crafty in getting to the rim and able to finish ambidextrous at the rim. Not to mention the jump shot is smooth with range out to three. His Lateral defense must improve at the next level and I would like to see a higher motor, nevertheless Williams has next-level upside.
Jeremiah Green Jeremiah Green 6’2″ | CG Sunrise Christian Academy | 2025 #60 Nation KS (2025) |6-2| Guyer High School
Lanky shooting guard that can really score the ball. A threat at all three levels meaning he can shoot it from deep, pull up and shoot over the defender using a high release, and finish at the rim consistently. Rather using his long arms at the rim or soft touch floaters he will be a top guard for the next couple of years in Dallas.
Dink Pate Dink Pate 6’8″ | PG Dallas Pinkston | 2023 State #70 Nation TX (2024) |6-8| Pinkston High School
Upside on this kid is limitless as he learns to play the game all out on both ends. Dink can jump out of the gym, get to the rim, and shoot at a high level of efficiency. Definitely a future NBA prospect as he is one of the most promising talents not only in Dallas, but in the nation for the 2024 class.rn
