Paxton Crane 6-5 Carroll (IN) (pictured) A lot of potential in this Fort Wayne area post. It begins with the frame. Wide bodied but very mobile. Moved well from block to block. This lane agility made him quite active on the offensive glass. Showed a soft touch around the basket on a handful clever reverse finishes. Finished with a game high 18 points in OPS Blue’s decisive opening victory.
Sean Wesolek Sean Wesolek 6'6" | PF Bay City John Glenn | 2025 State MI 6-6 Bay City John Glenn (MI) Full disclosure. I normally try to avoid writing about players in consecutive weekends. However sometimes the play just warrants it. That is the case with Wesolek. Continued his big time play in the post on Friday. Established deep position and sealed off defenders with his wide lower body. Was able to find open shooters in passing out of double teams. Showed the expansion in his with a timely corner three of his own.
Tyler Davis Tyler Davis 6'5" | PF Mount Vernon Fortville | 2025 State IN 6-6 Mt Vernon- Fortville (IN) Wesolek’s opponent on the block with Kyle Guy Elite had a nice game in the hard earned victory. Was particularly active on both the offensive and defenses glass. Used his long reach to rebound outside of his area. After securing rebounds showed quick elevation on put backs. Ran the court well and with purpose. Competed hard against The Process’ deep and large front line.
Zander Nash Zander Nash 6'7" | SF Imlay City | 2025 State MI 6–6 Imaly City (MI) Speaking of the depth Davis has to go up against. Nash was the second part of the Process’ two headed post monster. Has more of a perimeter game than Wesolek. Showed his quickness with a nice reverse drop step move down the baseline. Displayed the ability to finish with both hands around the basket. Has an excellent touch from the perimeter. Newcomer to this particular squad. In his second weekend appears to be gaining more comfort.
Andre Kinnebrew 5-7 Warren Central (IN) We can’t let the post prospects get all the ink. Compact point guard had a nice showing in a losing effort. Kept coming hard even in the second half. After the outcome of the game had been decided. Got to his spots with strong ball handling ability. Low center gravity made it hard to turn him over. Penetrated all the way to the rim without fear. Finished well for his size. Doesn’t lack for confidence or strength. Finished with 10 points in INB Elite’s opening loss.
