Woodz Elite is a Nike EBYL team that has formed in Colorado over the last year starting out with a 7th-grade team only. They have slowly but surely started to make a name for themselves on a national level. The team is as well-rounded as they come, having players they can fill in and play multiple positions at any given time.
Demetrius Lambert is the clear-cut leader of this group as he gives the team length and athleticism at the guard spot. Not to mention being able to put the ball in the basket at a high level. Montae Johnson serves as the utility guy for this team being able to create offense at any given moment as well as being able to defend opposing teams’ bigger guards. Izzy Kabongo and Lee Robinson are a dangerous duo with Lee being the pure point guard that can do what needs to be done to please the team and Izzy being able to play on-ball or off-ball depending on what the offense needs scoring-wise. Darryl Davis is the anchor on the defensive end of the floor for Woodz forcing opposing guards into tough shots or getting easy steals in the backcourt. Darian Proctor is a player that provides a scoring kick when the team is in a slump but can also handle the ball and make decisions in the half-court.

is big 6’7 guy that holds down the painted area on both ends of the floor. If you know anything about that Betts family you know they’re going to get the job done in the paint on both sides of the ball. Tristan Robinson and Jai’Dan Richardson are two of the top players on this roster as they bring a certain attitude and toughness that is required to compete at a high level. Tristan is a high-energy guy that is capable of stringing together an offensive run of his own at times in the game. Jai’Dan has the ability to play inside out, giving them to option to punish smaller wings in the paint, or letting him have the isolation on the wing versus slower post players.
