Parker Steffen Parker Steffen 6'0" | CG Chaparral | 2025 State CA-S 5’11 2025 G, Team DTermined 16U Elite, Chaparral HS
He’s a fast, speedy guard with a quality set of handles, he plays fearless when attacking the rim. He doesn’t shy away from contact, while finishing in different ways, off two feet, with either hand. He has a nice crossover dribble before pulling up at mid-range. He has hand, and foot speed to defend hard and get steals.
Caleb Render 6’3 2025 G, Team DTermined 16U Elite, Ranch Verde HS
The first thing we noticed about Render was his ability to defend. His length, strength and foot speed moving laterally causes problems for anyone he’s guarding. He’s was one of the better defenders on the day. Offensively he excels filling lanes in transition. He can handle and use his strength to get to the rim. He’ll hit the short jumper. He has good hops to go get rebounds, then push.
Desmond Botts 6’4 2024 G/W Cali Rebels, Mayfair HS
He’s the athletic versatile prospect who’ll fill the stat sheet in different columns. He rebounds, runs the court both ways, finishes strong at the rim including dunks. He’s an excellent defender who plays with a determination. He has a good stance, lengthy arms, good foot speed and lateral movements. He can guard multiple positions at this level.
Deacon Botts 5’9 2025 PG, Cali Rebels, Mayfair HS
He’s an up and coming PG who plays at his own pace, with the confidence to do what PG’s do. His square shoulders, tight handles gives him an edge to lean in and bump defenders off balance with his dribble. He shows he can facilitate in the half-court. He’s a pusher and a looker in transition. He’ll drop a mid-range off the dribble, and attack with balance to get paint points, and dishes.
Zay Pomare 6’4 2024 G, Coastal Elite 17u, El Camino HS, Oceanside, CA
He’s a productive player with a good set of fundamental skills, he makes good decisions, and has good shot selection. He has a smooth jump shot with the range to knock it down from mid-range with or without a dribble, he knocked down a few behind the arc on the catch. His handles, and passing were good in transition. He had good body control on drives into the paint for finishes with the left.
Alex Stuart 6’6 2024 F, Cali Rebels 17, Pacific Christian HS
A solid body forward with good ball handling skills. He uses his body and balance to score in the post area, taking it up strong off two feet around the rim. He comes at you hard in transition, and driving the baseline. He plays through contact and can reverse finish on the other side, he hits the mid-range, and short corner jumper. He’ll rebound, and hold his own in post defense.
Dom Faenzi Dom Faenzi 5'8" | PG Half Moon Bay | 2024 State CA-N 5’8 2024 PG Norcal Ducks, Half Moon Bay
One of a few NorCal prospects to challenge himself against SoCal competition. He held up good. He settled himself, used his speed and quickness off the dribble to get to his spots for mid-range jumpers, he attacked the rim putting it high off the glass. He’s fast in transition, he found the shooters, and the cutters with good solid passing.
Brayden Harris Brayden Harris 6'5" | SG Valley Christian | 2025 State #227 Nation CA-N 6’5 2025 SG, Norcal Ducks, Bellermine College Prep.
He’s got work to do in the weight room, nonetheless he fits the bill of a rising prospect in the 2025 class. He’s a long square shoulder shooting guard with a good stroke from mid-range all the way out past the 3pt line. He has good shot selection and shoots it at a good FGP.
Graydon Lemke 6’10 2024 Las Vegas Punishers 17u 3SGB
He’s an excellent candidate for the stretch four position, he has to sharpen things up a bit, but he did pass and move along the perimeter, then work his way into the post using a jump hook and paint jumper. He knocked down a couple of open 3’s along the perimeter and in the corners. His length helps in the paint to alter shots, get rebounds, and blocks.
