<p><strong>Slew of 2023s Taking Post Graduate Year: </strong>With the transfer portal drastically altering the landscape of high school recruiting and head coaching moves causing further chaos, an unusual number of southeastern Pennsylvania's top ranked 2023s are electing to attend prep school for a post grad year. Already high-profile names like [player_tooltip player_id='1281811' first='Izaiah' last='Pasha'] (1st Team All-PCL), [player_tooltip player_id='1116055' first='Lucas' last='Orchard'] (2022 3A state champion), Logan McKee (HM All-CAL) and [player_tooltip player_id='1178095' first='Jacen' last='Holloway'] (2nd Team All-PCL) have scheduled a fifth year. Other standout 2023s such as [player_tooltip player_id='1119156' first='Deywilk' last='Tavarez'] (1st Team All-FSL) and [player_tooltip player_id='1379452' first='Andrew' last='Phillips'] (Inter-Ac POY) have mentioned that a post graduate year is something they are now considering. We are positive this post graduate list will continue to grow over the next two weeks.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1121734' first='Zion' last='Stanford'] </strong><strong>– 6'5” / Senior / West Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Small Forward:</strong> Despite the recent head coaching change at Temple, Stanford will <strong><em>remain committed</em></strong> to the Owls. New Head Coach Adam Fisher must be ecstatic that Stanford (18 pts. & 6.6 rebs. per game; 1st Team All-PCL selection) is still coming to North Broad Street. Stanford's regular season was impressive, but his performances from last month's 3A state tournament title run were ridiculous. He recorded 16 points (2 triples), 6 rebounds and 4 steals in 1st Round; 19 points, 8 boards and 6 dimes in 2nd Round; and 21 points (1 three) and 4 steals in quarterfinals. In the ‘chip game Stanford poured in 30 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and had 3 steals.</p>

<p><strong>Jacob Beccles – 6'2" / Post Grad / Lawrenceville Prep (NJ) / Team Durant / Combo Guard: </strong>The former Constitution standout spent 2022-23 as a post graduate player at Lawrenceville. The payoff for all his hard work and the extra year of high school came in late March when he committed to playing for Cornell. According to several reports, Beccles becomes the first Philly Public League player in 40 years to commit to an Ivy League program. During his senior season at Constitution, Beccles averaged 23 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while guiding the Generals to the 2A state title game. In 2021-22 Beccles was also named as a 2A 1st Team All-State selection.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1835832' first='Christian' last='Cervellero'] </strong><strong>– 6'2" / Senior / Cardinal O'Hara / BW Elite / Shooting Guard:</strong> A starter for an O'Hara squad that qualified for the 4A state tournament team, Cervellero recently committed to DeSales University (D3). In 2022-23 he averaged 7.5 ppg. to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 steals per game. During O'Hara's two state tournament contests he increased his production to 10 points per contest on the strength of 2 made threes per night. In addition to splashing threes, Cervellero owns a solid stop and pop game.</p>

<p><strong>Jaiden McGhee </strong><strong>– 6'5" / Senior / Middletown (DE) / We R1 17s / Shooting Guard:</strong> McGhee is a long and physical prospect with significant transition scoring skills. This 1st Team All-State selection has a knack for ending fast breaks with posterizing slam dunks. When he is not flushing on opponent's heads, McGhee is draining threes. He averaged 13 points per game and scored a season high 24 points vs. Caravel. He recently committed to Kutztown University (D3).</p>
