Cannon just brings consistency every time he touches the floor. He won’t overwhelm with one thing he does. He likes to stuff the stat sheet at times with points, rebounds, defensive stops, deflections, hustle plays. Connor really rebounds the ball well on both ends of the court from his position.
Brown made the move this grassroots season from Upward Stars to the Charlotte area-based program. Jamarie really looks to score the ball and was able to do just that today. He dropped some floaters along with creating some separation on his jumpers. Brown does a nice job of getting elevation on his shot.
Jamarie made some crafty passes today for his squad.
Kowalski has the tools for the next level but still seems to be figuring out things at times. Cooper is a long and rangy forward who looks to be a deceptive athlete at times. Kowalski has great length and mobility to cover some ground on the floor. He will surprise you from time to time with a stalking along the baseline or a putback on the glass.
Collins likes to play the game in attack mode for Team USC-Hart. Cayman was really looking to touch the paint and penetrate-kick to a teammate it seemed like every time today. Collins a shifty ball-handler working a crossover move to race by defenders to the cup.
Highlights
White is a physical specimen on the floor. Russ will bully defenders while overpowering them on the way to the bucket. The left-handed White really likes to play the game on contact while absorbing a lot of bruises on the way to the cup. Russ likes to drive and get the ball downhill to the cup every time.
Huff is quite shifty with the ball in his hands out top. Dre looks to attack the gaps and get to the cup. He will take some tough shots at times from the perimeter. Huff is a 94 feet player and seems to excel in this style of play. Dre a point guard will always have the ball in his hands while on the floor for the Red & Black.
Gay showed some good minutes here today for the Hilton Head area-based team. Sully connected on some jumpers and put backs for his squad. Gay needs to stay engaged at times on both ends of the court. Sully was able to receive the ball in the pocket today for some good looks. He really needs to identify with a position on the floor especially on this Elite squad.
Mauldin scored 20 points in an overtime loss to Team Trezz. Clyde was able to connect on some three-pointers and some short jumpers. He was able to manufacture some of his buckets just on being in the right place. The left-handed Mauldin can play inside-out on the floor with his ability to post-up or step-out and knockdown the short jumper.
Allen played this past season at Clover HS after moving in from Las Vegas, NV. While in Las Vegas he attended Durango HS. Allen brought some good hustle plays here today while dropping 15 points in the game Prep Hoops took in for Team Hustle.
Isaac was able to slash to the basket or connect on some short jumpers. He really looked to play very active away from the ball today. Allen will look to make a debut next time around in the Prep Hoops Palmetto State Rankings when updated.
Jackson is a slender-sleek guard who can really touch the paint. Lamont is geared to score the ball from all 3 levels at times. Today Lamont scored 18 points in a game we were able to catch him play. He rarely leaves the floor, and he really looks to make things go for the Team USC Premier squad.
Jackson plays the game with some confidence and look for him to maybe make some noise this summer with his play. He attends Blythewood HS in the Midlands.
