The following players were #GameChangers at #PHATownShowdown, and here is why…
Bahji Daniel Bahji Daniel 5'9" | PG Spalding | 2026 State GA (5’9/PG/’26/Metro Elite ’26)
Instagram: Only1bahji
Twitter: @BahjiDaniel2026
Bahji is a scorer. There is no other way to sum it up. He is a creative scorer in the paint off the bounce. He has a good feel for the game, is poised, and plays at a nice pace. He has really good footwork when he is in the paint, which helps him create the needed space amongst the bigs in order to get his shot off. He is a highly skilled guard listed as a PG but really thrived in scoring the rock. He has a quick burst off the bounce, and there weren’t many that could keep him at bay. He has really good court awareness and knows what is there for the taking, meaning he takes what the defense gives. He is also quick to take advantage of any collapses in defensive assignments. He is a GameChanger, particularly for this squad, because he is the perfect compliment to his backcourt partner Nazarious McDowell, and with so much attention often given to Nazarious, Bahji is often left to take over games.
Kamarion Meriwether (6’2/F/’26/One Dream Elite ’26)
Instagram: Kamm32_
I usually would say one of the most physical players, but Kamarion was the most physical player I saw all weekend. He can play inside and out but does most of his damage in the paint. He is physical when he is on the perimeter and is putting the ball on the floor and attacking the cup. He is physical when finishing at the rim off the bounce, off put-backs, and off low-block post-ups. He is physical when establishing rebounding position, and he is physical when pursuing the board. He was a load to deal with, which is exactly what makes him a GameChanger. His stout size and aggressive play were something that most opponents just did not have an answer for, and I even saw one player just choose not to put up any resistance.
Brody Coffin (6’3/PF/’26/Limitless ’26)
Instagram: brody.coffin
Twitter: @brody_coffin
Brody is one of the most versatile guys I saw throughout the weekend. He is a player that, if he was on another team, would probably be a primary scoring option. However, he is on a team with two of the best scorers I saw the entire weekend. Brody provides most of his production on the glass, versatility on defense, a reliable third option for scoring, and multi-level scoring. He is a gym for his squad, as he carries most of the load in every other area besides scoring. The scary thing about Brody is that he is a very versatile scoring interior player who can produce in the scoring column. He is a GameChanger because he is such a valuable player to have that is willing to be an unselfish guy and take a step back when it comes to his scoring prowess and commit to leading in other areas and impacting the game in ways other than scoring. Yet at the same time, he can provide his squad with additional scoring if needed from all levels.
Jaquavius Cox (6’2/W/’27/SDA ’26)
Instagram: jayy2.soild
Jaquavius has good positional size on the wing and a good skill set that was on display as he was productive inside the arc and in the paint, which is where he did his best work. He contributed by making winning plays and showed throughout the weekend that he is a difficult cover because of how well he maneuvers in and around the paint without the ball. He showed his ability to put the rock on the floor and score off the bounce. He is also highly active on the glass as he doesn’t mind mixing it up down low. He is a GameChanger because he does so many things well on the floor. He is a skilled blue-collar player who plays unselfishly and produces in ways that lead to wins.
Will Morris (5’6/PG/’26/ColeWorld Elite ’26)
Instagram: dirtyleft502boi
Twitter: @will64319522
I did not notice Will on day one, but he was hard to miss on day two. He is a lefty floor general that is small yet extremely tough off the bounce. Even though he is small, he has very good court vision and can make all the necessary passes as a distributor. He has a strong drive game that creates defensive collapses and puts defenses at a disadvantage when they must focus on trying to contain him off the bounce while ensuring their defensive rotations are not under excess stress due to his dribble penetration. He plays with outstanding energy and makes plays that contribute to winning. He is a GameChanger because he is the epitome of a floor general. He knows how to keep his squad’s offense in rhythm, get teammates involved, and provide scoring when needed.
Alijah France (5’10/PG/’26/The Golden Franchize ’26)
Instagram: KingFrance2007
Alijah is a PG who balances scoring and facilitating but really showed his adeptness at scoring throughout the weekend. He is not his squad’s primary source of offense, but he provided needed scoring. He had an excellent middle game and just has a knack for finding ways to score. He has nimble footwork and good body control and plays balanced and off two feet when he gets to his spots in the mid-range. He was a GameChanger because of his ability to control the game from both scoring and orchestrating.
