A brusing forward, Sondrup mixed it up for Vegas Elite’s 17U Blue squad this weekend. He used his body to compete for interior position, and he did a good job creating second chance opportunities for his team, grabbing several offensive rebounds in the game I saw.
Petrov took advantage of the opportunity to play as an unsigned senior. He was an active forward that was willing to throw his body around. His activity, kept balls alive, allowing him to win several extra possesion for his team.
Has is one of the best undersized rebounders we have in the state, and he wasted no time showing why. He was his typical aggressive self, grabbing a few nice in traffic boards in the game I watched.
Tolliver was amazing on the glass, the long, rangy forward remained active on both the offensive and defensive boards. His height and wingspan made him a problem to control. He grabbed multiple in traffic rebounds that he had absolutley no business getting.
I’ve gotting to see the Arizona native Harrison several times these last few months. His ability to clean the glass is becoming obvious. The lefty is an active player that uses his powerful upper body to ward off challengers. He pursues the pumpkin with a passion, grabbing a ton of offensive boards in the two games I saw.
At times Bright looked like a man amongst boys. The nearly 6’8 class of 2026 big man, dominated the boards in the game I watched. He rebounded alone and many times it seemed as if he was competing against PGE teamamte Howie Wu for boards. He has powerful hands, and used them to gobble every available rebound.
Duhart is one of the best pure rebounders we have in the state, and he showed why this weekend. He has long arms, and a relentless spirit, which allowed him to snag a ton of defensive boards. He’s not necesarrily a high jumper, however he’s a quick one, and his used a terrific first jump to get putbacks.
