Continue ReadingSims runs a great lead guard spot for both Omaha Westview and Omaha Elite 17u. Very solid on ball defender. Active hands in driving lanes, poking balls loose or forcing pickups. Pacey and poised ball handler, does a great job of knowing how to break defenders off and penetrate into the paint. Takes smart shots down low and has some creative small guard finishes. Very capable shooter from beyond the arc especially off the catch, and a mid range pull up threat as well.

Jett Farwell Jett Farwell 5'10" | SG Pawnee City | 2025 State NE
Farwell was one of Pawnee City’s top scorers and actually rebounders this past winter. The 5’9 guard can flat out elevate and his stats reflect that. On slashing takes he slows down as he closes in on the rim to control his body then elevates and finishes above defenders. He is also a putback threat off on offensive rebounds. Capable shooter from deep, more so a volume shooter. Defended anywhere from 1-5 for Pawnee City and has the ability to block some shots and outrebound forwards on the defensive end.
Anthony Kling Anthony Kling 6'0" | PG Pawnee City | 2025 State NE
Anthony Kling Anthony Kling 6'0" | PG Pawnee City | 2025 State NE
Kling is another Pawnee City guard that can fill up the stat sheet. Kling is more of a one guard that can create space with his ball handling and get to the cup. He’s more of an athletic finisher and can finish some tough layups going against taller defenders. He’s got a quick release on his jumper and can shoot it off the catch and off the bounce. He to had to guard forwards at times and was able to alter shots and sometimes even block shots due to his leaping ability.
Ryan Hutson Ryan Hutson 6'2" | SG York | 2025 NE

Hutson is a very intriguing prospect that was recently added to our 2025 class. Hutson is a 6’2 bigger bodied guard that can really muscle his way into buckets at the rim. Very strong finisher who is very comfortable playing in the paint and finishing against taller defenders. Can play back to basket and post up smaller guards. Capable ball handler and can knock down the open triple.
Cooper Warford Cooper Warford 5'11" | PG Southern | 2025 State NE
Cooper Warford Cooper Warford 5'11" | PG Southern | 2025 State NE
Warford is a very poised and under control, slashing guard. Finds his buckets primarily off the dribble attack but also off of cuts and curling off screens. He uses his long and controlled strides to penetrate the paint and then finishes off two more often than not, does a phenomenal job of keeping his feet under him giving him the best opportunity to finish. He’s got soft touch at the rim and paired with his body control helps him when he has to finish off one foot. He primarily gets his buckets on the slash but can also knock down the triple and occasionally a step back or side step three.
