Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some more New Names of some guards and wings who have been putting in some work early in the grassroots season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090498' first='Kain' last='McCaskill'] (Brad Beal Elite 15U): A 6'0" 2026 point guard from Vashon who enjoyed a breakout weekend at the first Nike EYBL session in Atlanta, which included a 27-point performance in the opening game. He displayed his speed and very quick first step to the basketball to get into the lane and finish on a variety of floaters and runners. He did a nice job of breaking down defenders off the bounce. He also made his share of catch and shoot 3-pointers to keep defenders honest when they gave him a step.

Eddie Norton Ill (Missouri Hawks 17U): A 6'3" 2024 guard from Lee's Summit North who is an impressive athlete with an active motor. He has a quick first step to the basket and he was getting downhill on a regular basis. He is an excellent finisher on his slashing drives to the basket. He had one explosive play when he threw down a dunk off a baseline drive.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090481' first='Jason' last='Stokes'] (Missouri Phenom-National 15U): A 6'2" 2026 point guard from MICDS who has plenty of talent and a high basketball IQ. He is a factor at both ends of the court with his length and athleticism. He has good quickness and the court vision to locate open teammates on the move. He keeps the ball moving. His handles are good and he can also knock down the 3-pointer. He uses his length to get deflections and play the passing lanes on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2092244' first='Tyson' last='Williams'] (Phenom Boys 17U): A 6'2" 2024 point guard from Cape Girardeau Central who is solidly built and he used his physical strength to get into the lane off the dribble. He finished well at the rim and he did a nice job of dropping dimes to open teammates. He was also solid on the defensive end as he did a good job of sitting down and moving his feet. He was also active in the passing lanes.

Eliot Pace (Missouri 66ers 17U): A 6'0" 2025 point guard from Webb City who is playing up at the 17U level. He plays the game in attack mode as he constantly probes the defense in search of driving lanes to the basket. He's physically strong enough to ward off defensive pressure as he moves at his own pace without being sped up. He is also effective at playing through contact and getting to the free throw line. He plays very well off of two feet in the lane.

Kyle Gast (Triple Threat 17U): A 6'3" 2024 wing from Fox who has a physical body and he uses it well enough to hold his own inside against taller players. He has good bounce and he plays with a lot of activity. He is very effective around the basket as a scorer and rebounder and he has the ability to beat defenders off the dribble and scoring on slashing drives. He can also knock down the 3-pointer when left open.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090504' first='Ben' last='Karsten'] (Gateway-Knights 15U): A 6'2" 2026 guard from Vianney who can fill it up from 3-point range when he has his game going. His range extends well past the 3-point line and he was a quick release to go along with it. He can get his shot off before a defender takes a step towards him. He moves well without the basketball and comes off screens well to become shot-ready when he catches the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119125' first='Keyion' last='Cross'] (COMO-TNT 16U): A 6'2" 2025 guard from Battle who has excellent athleticism and plays with a very nice burst when he looks to attack the basket. His first step is quick and he is also able to break down defenders with a nice spin move or a hesi on his way to the rim, where he is an excellent finisher. He also has the ability to be a lock down defender with his quickness and tenacity.
