Here’s some of the standouts in the 2025 class that grabbed our attention.
Harris playing up with the 17U’s has paid off. His first season on Varsity, he helped lead the Bells to upset wins in the play-offs. He’s long, wiry still filling his frame. He shoots the ball well knocking down mid-range and 3ptrs at a good percentage. He uses his length for lobs, and put backs. He continues to strengthen his body, and improve his overall skill set. He is a good passer, and handler.
Highlights
A rising prospect in the Sac Area. He’s athletic, strong, and hard to deal with in the paint. He’s a top rebounder, who’ll be a double double guy at this level. He can handle and pass along the perimeter, finish in transition. He threw one down with authority off the dribble. Knocking down the mid-range jumper will see his stock rise.
He’s a good size scoring guard who plays with balance, he can handle and create scoring opportunities for himself weaving and maneuvering his way into the paint using his dribble, then playing off two feet, he finishes around the rim. He has a good mid-range jumper, he makes his free throws.
He’s bouncy and active working the inside going after rebounds, and blocks. He has length, and strength going for points in the paint playing through contact. He has good foot speed and improved handles to get into the paint from the perimeter. He’s a good court runner, capable of defending multiple positions, and he hits the board at 16U.
A quality point guard in this class. He has good speed, quality handles and good vision to deliver passes. He can play fast or slow with good change of direction. He gets into the paint for kick outs, dump offs or finishes in different ways. He has a mid-range and can knock down 3’s. He passes up in transition, and defends on ball
He did a good job running the point at this event. His willingness to be a pass first point guard was noticeable. He had patience, vision and quality passing in half-court, he had long strong passing in transition. He’s a solid body to handle contact on the drive, and he hit the open 3ptr. He’s a good on ball defender.
Highlights
He’s a long arm wing prospect, a bit on the raw side. He has some tools to work with. He’ll challenge shots around the basket, work for rebounds and put back points. He’s a bit on the thin side, but does give give effort running the court in transition and trying to get rebounds. He has length to close out on shooters. He has work to do, but a good upside to his game. We’ll keep an eye on him.
He’s a new comer, and two sport athlete (football) He played 17U at this event. He’s a long arm prospect that’s capable of putting up good numbers. He averaged 16pts a game at Benicia HS. He has some skills for the court, we just need to see what he can do at the 16U level. He’s on Wright’s Watch List.
