Cornell Clark | Wisconsin Playground Club
Clark took it upon himself to be an energy leader for Wisconsin Playground Club. Disrupting and beating ball handlers to their spot, the lead guard was giving opponents issues when trying to find flow on offense. The gritty guard found himself rebounding with the bigs and giving up his body. Clark’s energy was infectious to his teammates.
Dillon Pompey | Powerhouse
The skilled guard for Powerhouse was one of the more versatile guards in the tournament. He was a threat on the perimeter and could not be left alone. He did a lot of damage off the dribble as well making plays for himself and others consistently. The combo guard was a reliable go-to when his team needed a basket.
Gavin Carufel | Wisconsin Playmakers
Wisconsin Playmakers made some noises this weekend. Their success had much to do with the patience and poise of Carufel’s steady play. The lead guard was methodical in the pick and roll and reading his options. He stood out the most when pouring in shots from range when defenders chose to go under the screen.
Donovan Hicks | FVV Elite
Hicks is a shifty guard with a next-level motor. His ability to break his defender down and draw help defenders was a catalyst for a talented FVV Elite team. His ability to be consistent scoring in the mid range and hit teammates with precise passing made him hard to contain.
