Carter Hankerson Carter Hankerson 6'8" | C Wekiva | 2024 State FL is a big-body forward that can finish through contact and rebounds. He has a physical game and is a willing passer.
Highlights
CJ Kearns just flat-out knows how to play the game. The 6’7 forward is a good screen setter that understands the nuances of rescreening for his ballhandler. He’s a good roll man that can finish in a crowd. He’s a good passer that can operate out of the high post and play with another big. Kearned always seems to be in the right place at the right time. High IQ big with a weighted 4.22 GPA.
Matthew Puodziukaitis Matthew Puodziukaitis 6'7" | PF Palm Beach Central | 2024 State FL is worth taking a flier on. He’s a 6’7 big that can handle in space, finishes above the rim off vertical, and blocks shots with his length. His handle is so good I consider him more of a combo forward than a true big, but without seeing much from him as a shooter in a game and a half, it’s hard to say how much time he can spend on the wing.
Brendan Mahoney Brendan Mahoney 6'7" | PF Boca Raton | 2024 State FL handled his own against Florida Rebels’ athletic group of big wings and forwards. He dunked everything, including a beautiful poster, over a defender of similar size. He challenged shots at the rim, grabbed offensive boards, and played intensely. Mahoney has a shot to be a high-level contributor with his finishing, nose for boards, and energy level.
Dewayne Brown II is a bruising 6’9 center. Brown II is the first prospect of the season that made me feel bad for his opponents. He’s strong, moves really well for his size, and is an effortless athlete. He rim runs, attacks the glass on both ends and is a respectable free throw shooter. Teams will have their hands full with the athletic big that carries a thick frame.
Amari Davis Amari Davis 6'8" | PF Oak Ridge | 2024 FL is growing up in front of our eyes. He is a 6’9 big that pays with physicality on both ends of the floor. Davis can finish through contact and will be an important rotational big for the rebel 15U. He runs the floor and will have plenty of time to develop while playing high level competition.
