Julian was in his bag Day 1 hitting multiple 3’s and he showed that he is ready for the next level running the PG position. Julian picked up where he left off in the Idaho playoffs. He was killing it with his range as he did Da1 and he was getting to some comfortable spots as well. Impressive athleticism as he found holes in the defense and it lead to some powerful dunks. With him lighting it up from deep and the ability to attack the rim really made him standout as he helped throttle D1 Minnesota.
He is back at it and he is once again a must watch player on the circuit. Eli is such a talented player that has constant movement and combo moves and counters that defenders seem to always be left guessing. When Eli is in a position to create he is elite. That footwork and patience is even better than last season as he is playing at a different pace than everyone else. His stop and go and change of direction was a sight to see. He had a great Day 1.
Highlights
Lefty snipper was in his bag. That quickness and ability to stop on a dime was on display. He showed he could create for himself using stop and goes, change of speed and a quick change oof direction. Weak closeouts will be punished with big time shooting. Passing ability just seals the deal on his ability to effect the game in so many ways. He is going to be a problem all Spring long.
Jaxon was intriguing and then you find out that Stanford has offered and is all over him. He recently was on campus at Utah State after he was re-offered by the new staff. He might have picked up so more interest as he is a lengthy shooter that has been crashing the boards hard and he is getting tip touches and put backs. Defends well and when he gets in the weight room and gets bigger he is going ot be a find. He is going to be a player to watch on the circuit.
