Stephon Porter
Stephon Porter
Stephon Porter, a 5’10 rising Junior guard at McDowell, is a physically imposing player with strength that makes it difficult for opponents to stop when he gets to the lane. He uses his body to create good angles. Stephon is also a tough defender and a powerful rebounder. He has a knack for drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line. At times, Porter gets a bit out of control when attacking the rim, but with more experience and playing time, he should improve in this aspect. Overall, Stephon Porter is a physical force on the court, and his abilities as a scorer could put him near the top of the scoring leader board in District 10 next season.
Damon Curry Damon Curry 6’2″ | SG Franklin | 2024 State PA is a standout rising Senior in District 10. He led Franklin in scoring last season, averaging an impressive 17 points per game. Damon is a sharpshooter from 3-point range and has exceptional range. He finishes well from everywhere on the court, boasting a field goal percentage of almost 50%. Damon is a leader on the court and is expected to have a huge year for the Knights next season. He is also a great passer, spreading the ball around and creating opportunities for his teammates. With good size and strength, Curry uses his body to create angles at the rim, making him difficult to guard. He has the potential to be the scoring leader in District 10 next season and should be getting some Division II looks. If he continues to work on his footwork and quickness, Damon will undoubtedly be the best player in the District.
