This past year the Class of 2026 took Utah High School basketball by storm and they set the bar high. Here are a few players in the Class of 2027 we must keep an eye on.
Ashton Shewell Ashton Shewell 6'3" | CG Lehi | 2027 State UT || 2027 ||
We have heard that Ashton will likely land at Lehi High School. The open sets and the usual 4 guard offense could be some ting that can benefit Ashton who is a slashing guard that gets to the rim with force and quickness. He has some size and athleticism for a combo guard. Do not be surprised if you see him get varsity minutes next season.
Karter Miller Karter Miller 6'0" | PG Layton | 2027 State UT || 2027 ||
Karter has done a great job of working on his game. He shoots the ball well and this will give him a shot to see the floor at Layton next season. Kater provides shooting and if he can catch and shoot he will be a valuable addition and another player that could see the floor as a freshmen next season.
Davian Lazarus Davian Lazarus 6'3" | SG Olympus | 2027 State UT || 2027 ||
Davian is a sharp shooter with big time range. He will fit in nicely with the open/freedom that Olympus plays. That is where he will likely land next year. Olympus is not afraid to play youngsters because if you can play you will see the floor. More shooters at Olympus means trouble for everyone else.
Stone Tia Stone Tia 6'1" | SF Cyprus | 2027 State UT || 2027 ||
Stone is one of many Tia brother that have paved their way and left their mark at Cyprus High School. If he lands there which we think he will he will be another welcomed addition to a team that is building something special. They have young talent in the pipeline and Stone could make his way on the varsity roster as well.
Bode Sparrow Bode Sparrow 6'2" | CG Davis | 2027 State UT || 2027 ||
One of the best players in the class a she can just do it all. Will not be surprised if he ends up at Davis or some other bigger school that can give him an opportunity to prepare for the next level. He can shoot and he can defend. One of the better two way players in the class. He has the game to make varsity at almost any school in the state.
