Here are some of the top one and done performances of the 1A-3A classes:
Vaughn made a lot of fans across the state for his dynamic guard play for the Eagles. He didn’t last long at the 3A state tournament, but he left a mark, removing any doubt about his standing as one of the best guards in the small school ranks. He scored 26 points and hit five 3 pointers in the tough loss to eventual champion Hesston.
Ball is one of the most rugged competitors in the small school classes, and he went down fighting. In a defeat at the hands of Southeast of Saline, Ball scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, which sums up his talent as a physical guard who can make plays in the lane at both ends.
One of the top newcomers to the state, Smith and the Bulldogs were disappointed by their performance against Medicine Lodge. But the high-rising junior hit 7-8 shots for 15 points and reeled in 14 rebounds, one of many double-doubles on the season.

Fighting to keep from heading home early, the sophomore Skocny went off on offense against South Gray. He drilled three 3-pointers and got 25 points in the 1A Div. I quarterfinals.

Morgan turned in an all-around performance in a loss to eventual 1A Div. I champion Macksville. The long junior scored 17 points, hit two 3s, and pulled in 9 rebounds.

In an impressive 1A Div. II quarterfinal. Eilert gave the Blujays some of everything. He hit 7-15 from the field and 2-3 from the line for 16 points. He grabbed 7 rebounds and handed out 3 assists in a loss to Lebo.
