Stoney Hadnot
Stoney went absolutely ballistic in Cy Spring’s heated playoff game against Benjamin Davis. Hadnot scored 19 points on 8/13 from the field and went 2/4 from the free throw line. Stoney also pulled down 8 rebounds and dished out 6 assists, leading the Panthers to a clutch time win to move on to the next round. Stoney is one of those do it all players who will never hesitate to do whatever is asked of him. Hadnot is projected to continue this sky high momentum into the AAU grassroots season playing with Team Temple against the best there is to offer in the AAU circuit.
Jaheim Wiley
Jaheim Wiley
Jaheim was a dominant force in the post for his Cy Springs Panthers squad in their crunch time win over Benjamin Davis during playoffs. Jaheim pulled down a statement making double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, going up against a physical Falcons team that is known to be dominant under the basket. Wiley held his own in this matchup, using a variety of post moves to score the ball under the rim and even stepped out behind the arc to hit a three pointer or two. Jaheim will look to continue this momentum into the grassroots season as he looks to compete on a high stage against some of the best post players he will encounter.
Deadric Fikes
Deadric Fikes
Deadric was the main presence for his team in their close playoff loss to Cypress Springs in late February. The Falcons may have lost the game, but Deadric definitely made his name known among everyone in attendance, dropping 23 points on 8/13 from the field and hitting all 7 of his attempts from the foul line. He also pulled down 15 rebounds for a resounding double-double. Deadric projects as a dominant big man for any summer travel team that he plays with this season and will continue to make waves as he puts his name on the map as a big time prospect from the Houston area.
Jaden Miller
Jaden Miller
Jaden had a big time game as the lead playmaker against a tough Atascocita Eagles squad, dropping 19 points while shooting 11/11 from the free throw line in a crazy display of offense. Jaden recently committed to East Central University and will look to continue this kind of momentum at the collegiate level next season. The floor general for Pearland Dawson is highly efficient at running his team’s offense as well as keeping his teammates involved at all times, His quickness on the defensive end is also impressive, as he is equally effective with his deny ball defense as he is light on his feet. Jaden will continue to impress as his momentum continues into the next chapter of his story.
David had a big time stat line in the bi-district win for Harker Heights over Waxahachie. Punch showcased his crazy athleticism down in the post, scoring an insane 30 points and also dragging down 17 rebounds. David was effective on both ends for his Knights team as they displayed their ability to dominate the contest on both ends of the court. David projects as a noisemaking post 2024 prospect that will look to gather more collegiate interest/offers as the grassroots season begins to come into effect this summer.
