<p>With a full state of PIAA State Tournament 1<sup>st</sup> Round games taking place on Saturday and Sunday, gyms all over southeastern Pennsylvania were buzzing with hoops action.</p>

<p>Below is review of eight players who posted standout performances during state tourney contests played over the weekend.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1116019' first='Dylan' last='Blair'] </strong><strong>– 5'11” / Senior / Downingtown West / East Coast Cyclones / Point Guard: </strong>The back-to-back Ches-Mont POY winner had all elements of his game working on Saturday. Blair drained 5 threes, scored in transition as well as via floaters and change of pace drives to the cup. When the game was over, Blair had scorched Waynesboro for 32 points and a win in their 6A contest. Blair is committed to Army.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1281774' first='EJ' last='Campbell'] </strong><strong>– 6'1” / Junior / Spring Ford / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard: </strong>Campbell is an athletic and versatile guard who is quickly making his way up our 2024 rankings. On Saturday he scored, distributed, and played tenacious defense. Campbell notched 14 points (2 threes) in SF's 1<sup>st</sup> Round win over a defensive minded Central York squad. <strong></strong></p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1123885' first='Nick' last='Coval'] – 6'2” / Junior / Parkland / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Shooting Guard:</strong> During Parkland's run to the District 11-6A title, Coval averaged 21.6 points and 2.6 made threes per game. This weekend Coval extended his stretch of outstanding to play to the 1<sup>st</sup> Round of states as he poured in 22 points (2 threes) in Parkland's victory against WC Henderson. Coval's ability to create shots off the dribble is vastly underrated.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1382975' first='Myles' last='Grey'] </strong><strong>– 5'10” / Senior / Reading / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Red / Combo Guard:</strong> One of the most underrated 2023 backcourt prospects in the region, Grey put on a perimeter shooting display in Reading's 6A win over Haverford. In that 1<sup>st</sup> Round victory, Grey drilled 8 threes on his way to 30 points. Saturday was the second time this season that Grey (1<sup>st</sup> team All Berks-Conference selection) has drained 8+ triples in a game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='991392' first='Elijah' last='Hester'] </strong><strong>– 5'11″ / Senior / West Philly / SK Elite 17s / Point Guard:</strong> Hester is a creative and high IQ primary ball handler. He can score at all 3-levels and facilitate for teammates. This past weekend Hester attacked the rim off the dribble and got out in transition for buckets. He impressed a host of scouts as he tallied 28 points (11 in 3<sup>rd</sup> quarter) during the Speedboys 5A win over West Scranton.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1186043' first='Nayeem' last='Johnson'] </strong><strong>– 6'2” / Senior / Math, Civics & Sciences / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Black / Wing: </strong>Johnson continues to prove that he can score at all 3-levels vs. top notch competition. Last week in the District 1-3A championship game vs. West Catholic he posted 17 points. Then this weekend, Johnson hung 27 points on Palmerton as the MCS Mighty Elephants advanced in the 3A tournament.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1382970' first='Nadir' last='Myers'] </strong><strong>– 6'2” / Senior / Upper Darby / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] Select / Point Guard: </strong>This wiry and fast lefty is one of the most intriguing uncommitted 2023 prospects out there. He can get to rim with ease and shoot the three from NBA range. On Saturday he paced Upper Darby with 20 points (1 three) as the Royals defeated Bethlehem Liberty in 6A tourney action.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1382973' first='Alex' last='Seidman'] </strong><strong>– 6'0” / Senior / Haverford / PSB Philly / Combo Guard: </strong>Seidman is committed to Catholic University (D3) and the Cardinals are getting one of the most accurate 3-point snipers in the region. Plus, he can also play point guard if needed. In Haverford's 6A tourney loss to powerhouse Reading on Saturday, Seidman splashed 7 threes and his way to 27 points. Over the last two high school games of his career, Seidman averaged 31.5 points and 5 made triples per night.<strong></strong></p>
