We’ll breakdown which 2026 prospects contributed to their team’s success.
Colton Smith Colton Smith 6'5" | PF Mitchell | 2026 State SD – 6’4”-6’5” F 2026 – Mitchell – You have to be a special player/prospect to garner playing time and make an impact as a Freshman in AA basketball in South Dakota. Smith is just that, coming in as the #1 rated 2026 prospect in South Dakota, in the latest update. He contributed in Mitchell being State AA runner-ups.
Game 1 vs Pierre: 16 minutes— 0 points (0-2 FG), 3 rebounds, 1 block, 2 steals
Game 2 vs Sioux Falls Lincoln: 10 points(5-8 FG), 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal
Championship Game vs Yankton: 11 minutes— 4 points(2-4 FG), 2 rebounds
Brady Schroedermeier Brady Schroedermeier 6'2" | PG Viborg-Hurley | 2026 State SD – 6’0” PG 2026 – Viborg-Hurley – Brady is the starting point guard for Viborg-Hurley. A highly-athletic prospect, that plays with power and explosiveness. One of my favorite prospects to watch in all of the state tournaments. It would not shock me if he became a D2/high-end NAIA prospect. He will enter the rankings in the next update.

Game 2 vs Ethan: 30 minutes— 2 points(0-1 FG) 1 rebound, 3 steals
Game 3 vs Castlewood: 28 minutes— 7 points(3-9 FG) (1-4 3FG), 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals

– 6’1” G 2026 – Hamlin – Wadsworth looks young and you can see a bunch of room for physical growth with him. He plays mature though. High IQ, focus, alertness, decision-making, and sound skills. Shot the three well in the A tournament. Currently, the #10 rated 2026 in South Dakota.
