Are you curious about who will be a breakout prospect this spring/summer? Look no further. These guards showed out at the Prospect Camp and you should know their names. Below are their evaluations and what each prospect brought to the floor.
Mason Kleinsmith Mason Kleinsmith 5'9" | PG Madison LaFollette | 2023 State WI | Madison Lafollete | 2023
Kleinsmith is a problem to guard one on one. He was drawing help defense almost every time down the floor. His athletic ability and agility are next-level ready. He was at his best in the lead guard position. His balanced attack of shooting and driving left defenders guessing and off-balance while guarding him.
Cameron Freeman | Wauwatosa East | 2025
Freeman is extremely confident on the offensive end. He was able to shift defenders and get downhill with ease. He’s a tough guard who was able to put defenders on his hip and he finished through some tough contact throughout the day. His role for his team was to attack the mismatch which he was able to do early and often.
Perry Dorris Perry Dorris 6'0" | PG Martin Luther | 2025 State WI Jr. | Greendale Martin Luther | 2025
Dorris Jr is a very poised guard. He wanted the ball and proved it was for good reason – he has a smooth jump shot on and off the dribble. He has a strong drive whether it is down the middle or baseline. Dorris Jr looked to pressure his mismatch and get the ball out of his opponent’s hands. His role on Sunday was to make plays on the ball on both ends for his team and he did just that.
Jayden Paul Jayden Paul 5'10" | PG Big Foot | 2026 WI | Big Foot | 2026
Paul is an ultra-talented guard out of Big Foot who has a great feel for the game. He got to the free throw line consistently with crafty drives to the rim. He was able to absorb contact and finish. Paul did a great job locating the open man on drives. His role for his team was setting the table for the offense.
Steven Wright Steven Wright 5'10" | PG Shorewood | 2026 WI | Shorewood | 2026
Wright has high-level instincts, he does extremely well at predicting plays before they develop. He was able to take his matchup off the dribble which led to; timely assists, stop-and-pop mid-range shots, or a finesse finish at the rim. He was a floor spacer for his teammates on offense and was a menace on the ball applying full-court pressure.
Brandon Roselek | Cudahy | 2023
The Cudahy guard has a solid frame and next-level strength. His court vision and ability to facilitate were apparent, creating lead-out layups and consistently driving and kicking to teammates. He has a nose for the ball when shots go up, and his physicality when boxing out was apparent. He pushed the pace in transition after recovering rebounds. Roselek was a jack of all trades on the offensive end.
