Program Preview: Texas Dynasty

Day by day Coach Zack proves to be a master of his craft as he displays his special gift for creating smiles while bringing out the best in each and every player that surrounds him. Texas Dynasty excels at developing the youth and taking their game to the next level. Over the past couple of years, Dynasty’s methods and style of teaching have produced more college athletes than any other program in the North Dallas area from high major Division 1 universities to the junior college level. With an abundance of interest and conversations to merge with Nike EYBL and their highly respected ProSkills program, the Texas Dynasty brand and exposure are expected to grow substantially while elevating in status, becoming more popular than ever, and ultimately, one of the most notable youth sports organizations in the state of Texas.

The Mission: Texas Dynasty’s mission has always been to provide players of all ages with a fun-loving and positive coaching experience while supplying them with the superior tools and knowledge needed to become a confident, dedicated, and hardworking individual on and off the court by bringing kids a highly energetic and encouraging environment.

Goals: The goal is to make the sport of basketball as simple as possible by breaking the game down to its smallest component for all types of athletes as coaches instill the basketball IQ in them to play anywhere, for any coach, at any level.

Team Strengths: Coach Zack and his staff do not teach plays, they teach their players how to play the correct way. The emphasis that is put on court awareness, spacing, passing, proper footwork, and most of all, teamwork, rings loud throughout the program during practices and feeds into the game.

X-Factor Players to Watch: This organization is filled with incredibly skilled and intelligent prospects in every age group along with teams ranked and recognized nationally from their star-studded 8th-grade squad down to their firey and competitive 2nd-graders. Texas Dynasty’s most impressive group of guys goes to their 8th-grade team which is made up of a 3-headed monster in the backcourt of Payton Jones, Kavian Bryant, and Isaak Hayes, some of the most exciting playmakers and dynamic scoring guards in the entire country. Hayes comes well-equipped with tight handles, elite blow-by quickness, excellent body control, and the ability to put up points in all types of situations, but Hayes is most dangerous in transition where he’s fantastic at staying a step ahead of the defense. Bryant puts fear in his opponents due to his craftiness and knack for finishing inside the arc by using an array of runners and acrobatic layups. Jones’s ability to keep the ball on a string leads to countless scoring opportunities from each level of the court for his teammates as well as himself. Payton Jones consistently shows off his next-level feel for the game while also making others around him better.
