The new alignment has turned a 4 Region Classification into a 3 Region Classification. A few new comers to 6A and a few new teams joining different regions which makes new matchups interesting.

Region 1

Region 1 was competitive this year and will be good next year as well. Fremont return Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT . Davis returns Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater 6'3" | SG Davis | 2025 State UT and Zach Fisher Zach Fisher Zach Fisher 6'6" | CG Davis | 2024 State UT . Layton Return KJ Miller KJ Miller KJ Miller 6'3" | CG Layton | 2024 State UT and Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin 6'2" | PG Layton | 2024 State UT . Then you have Syracuse graduates everyone that made consistent contributions. Weber returns Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'0" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT . Clearfield exits 6A and moves to 5A which might be better for them in competition. Farmington will return Paul Beattie Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'8" | SF Farmington | 2024 State UT and Jaydenn Haskell Jaydenn Haskell Jaydenn Haskell 6'2" | SG Farmington | 2024 UT , they could be much improved next year.

Region 2

Region two is basically Region 3 and they added Corner Canyon. A lot of question marks in this region but Corner Canyon will be in the mix for a repeat with a few guys they have coming back and they always do a great job reloading. Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SG Corner Canyon | 2024 State #126 Nation UT should be in the Mix for Utah’s Mr. Basketball. Bingham will be lead bu Super Freshman Luke West Luke West Luke West 6'2" | SG Bingham | 2026 State UT . Herriman will have a new coach and they return the most talent in the region that had varsity experience. Players like Malcom Johnson Malcom Johnson 6'6" | SF Herriman | 2024 State UT and Ike Palmer Ike Palmer Ike Palmer 6'4" | CG Herriman | 2024 State UT return for the Mustangs. Riverton will have some players come back like Zach Edwards Zach Edwards 6'3" | SF Riverton | 2024 State UT . Copper Hills will return another Super Freshmanin Isaiah Reiser Isaiah Reiser Isaiah Reiser 5'10" | PG Copper Hills | 2026 UT . Mountain Ridge looks to replace a lot of pieces.

Region 3

Region 3 added Lehi as they replaced Corner Canyon. Lehi has a good group coming back that will allow them to compete in an all Utah County Region. Top to bottom it will be a battle like Region 4 has always been.

Lehi returns Cooper Lewis Cooper Lewis Cooper Lewis 6'1" | PG Lehi | 2024 State UT who was their leading scorer and expect other to step their game up. American Fork returns Blake Rawson Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'7" | SF American Fork | 2024 State UT and Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'2" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT who both have the capability to lead their team back to state. Westlake has some young player and none better than Symon Sua Symon Sua Symon Sua 6'2" | PG Westlake | 2025 State UT who ended the year very well. Skyridge has some young talent and should surprise some people with how hard they play. Cy Hansen Cy Hansen 6'2" | SF Skyridge | 2024 State UT will be their top scorer coming back. Pleasant Grove always puts together a solid team and will be lead by Austin Simon Austin Simon Austin Simon 6'0" | PG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT and Ryker Mikkelsen Ryker Mikkelsen 6'2" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2025 State UT . Lone Peak will be dangerous with Ike Staley Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SF Lone Peak | 2025 State UT and Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | C Lone Peak | 2025 State UT coming back.
