Continue ReadingHe may not be the tallest in size, the star of the team or even the player on the squad that’s seeing a high amount of recruitment, but he’s playing the game with a high amount of energy and toughness each time he steps on the floor. Defensively he is constantly applying pressure, forcing opponents to be sped up which leads to turnovers and rushed possessions.
After transferring into the program late in the season, he’s found his role and seems to be embracing it. With that being said, he has the potential to have a big-time scoring game at any moment which would make the Goldsboro squad even more dangerous in their matchup with FCHS.
The Senior PG has played in quite a few big-time games throughout his high school career, so this game will be far from foreign for him. He’s one of those players that doesn’t shy away from any matchup, can make a nice impact on both ends of the floor and is a player that you can count on down the stretch of games.
The Guard play for Wilson Prep has carried a high amount of the load for the Tigers this season but don’t be surprised to see some contributions from the big man on Saturday. He has legit size at about 6’7 and makes play inside the paint on both ends of the floor by using his height and strength.
Highlights
You won’t see his name at the top of the stat line on most occasions, but he brings an attribute to the squad that you simply can’t overlook and that’s senior leadership. He’s an extension of the coach on the court, never seems to get too high or too low and is one of the most unselfish players that we got the chance to see this season.
