He established himself early on inside the paint, using his size and physicality to make a nice number of plays. His team would go on to win the camp championship and his play down the stretch was one of the reasons why they were able to which led to him being named Camp MVP. Schools at the D3 level have been recruiting him the hardest, with programs at the NAIA and JC levels also showing interest.
In his first game of the day, he broke the single game scoring record in camp history, scoring 28 Points which helped his team comeback after facing a rather large deficit. He doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off, has impressive upper body strength and will be a nice pickup for a program that is looking for a player that can score the ball.
Continues to prove that he is a prospect that should be on the radar of college coaches sooner than later, this young man simply knows how to put the ball in the bucket at a high level. He has range on his shot from beyond the college three-point line but also understands how to get to his spots from midrange and score at a high level as well. He took home the three-point contest championship as well as being named the All-Star Game MVP.
There are certain players that play with a confidence that makes it seem like every shot he takes is going in and he’s one of those guys. He doesn’t back down from any challenge that he may be matched against, has impressive athletic ability and shoots it from deep at a very high percentage.
One of the sleeper prospects that truly helped his stock with his play, he started off the day with a high scoring day and played solid throughout the remainder of camp. He played the game at his own pace, didn’t get sped up, defended well without fouling and proved that he is a player that can play on the next level.
