Ethan Arntson of Sacred Heart (6’3 sr). Ethan had a rough day shooting but he’s a smooth, skilled prospect that I could see grow into a nice college basketball player at the D3 or local junior college level. Ethan made all four of his foul shots, an attack and a three for his nine points but it was the smooth way he moved with the ball that caught the eye.
Clint Determan of Border West (6’2 sr). Clint used his physical frame and his decent agility to attack Asuma several times for scores at the rim. Determan also hit two threes on his way to 19 points for the game (shot 8 of 15) but the truly impressive part of his game was his ability to get by a division one player and finish.
Quinn Kelly of Mankato Loyola (5’11 jr). Quinn is the only Loyola player that was on the floor for them today that will be back next year. He was their 6th man and only played six minutes but he did hit both threes he took in those six minutes. Kelly is the guy to watch for the Crusaders next season.
Alex Lester Alex Lester 6'7" | C Nevis | 2025 State MN of Nevis (6’7 soph). Alex is a player that we saw at the Crossover Classic and impressed us. Today he really impressed against a veteran team scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds. RTR has veteran size and they could not keep Alex off the glass as he had four o-boards leading to him making half of his dozen shots and getting eight of twelve free throws to go down. Had a couple blocks and got his length to the ball for three steals and deflections. Impressive showing.
Cody Wichmann of RTR (5’9 sr). Cody is your three and D guy and today he was exactly that hitting three threes, pressuring the ball, and jumping at each chance he could to get a hand on something defensively. Credited for five steals, I know he had at least three and then several deflections. Great effort in support.
Austin Woolf of New Life Academy (6’3 sr). The senior had a clutch three, a clutch putback to put Sacred Heart away and six hard working offensive rebounds to give his team regular second chances. Woolf is an effort guy and his effort on the glass and on defense was a big part of the NLA victory.
