Continue ReadingThe initial 2026 rankings dropped on Monday and the week has been filled with position breakdowns to discuss the new additions. The wing class is full of intrigue and will be one to monitor throughout the next couple of years. Here are the top wings in the 2026 class.
AJ Williams AJ Williams 6'7" | SF Bergen Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’7 Bergen Catholic
Williams is one of the most intriguing prospects in the class with his combination of length and athleticism. The lanky 6’7 wing can get to the rim off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. Williams has a nice touch on his jumper and rises up over smaller defenders. He is an underrated rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Williams is just scratching the surface of his potential and has the potential to breakout this spring and summer.
Jebron Harris Jebron Harris 6'4" | SF College Achieve Charter | 2026 State NJ , 6’4 St. Thomas Aquinas
Harris is a prospect to watch on the perimeter as he should get more looks on the offensive end during the AAU season. The 6’4 wing has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and can finish around the basket. Harris has a solid handle and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. Harris’ ability to get into the paint combined with his unselfishness should help his stock in a big way in the next couple of months.
Kole Grandison Kole Grandison 6'5" | SF Immaculate Conception | 2026 State NJ , 6’5 Immaculate Conception
Grandison had a solid freshman season for the Lions and is looking to build off that this spring and summer. The 6’5 wing has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before every shot. Grandison is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim and finish. He is a good on-ball defender as he uses his length and foot speed to make it hard for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Grandison is a two-way wing prospect who should only get better this AAU season.
Julius Avent Julius Avent 6'6" | SF Bergen Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’6 Bergen Catholic
Avent will be one to watch this AAU season as he gets to put his game on display. The 6’6 wing explodes off the floor for dunks and is a good finisher around the basket. Avent moves well without the ball in his hands and has a solid handle. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor. Avent has the potential to breakout over the next couple of months with his combination of length and athleticism.
Jayvon Rampersant Jayvon Rampersant 6'7" | PF Hudson Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’7 Hudson Catholic
Rampersant played closer to the basket this season for the Hawks, but has the ability to play on the wing. The 6’7 forward can get position down low and is able to draw contact in the paint. Rampersant has a good touch around the basket and has an underrated handle. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his size to make an impact on the defensive end. Rampersant’s ability to play inside and out is something that will help his game in a big way this AAU season.
