Bailey finished what he started here in Michigan after transferring back for his senior season. It was nice to see the elite talent back in state. Bailey is an explosive guard that can play on or off the ball. He can finish with power above the rim and with flair using his body control.
Mitchell finally got his just due and is on the list of ranked prospects. The tough above the rim finisher had an outstanding season. He can get off the ground in a hurry and is a nasty finisher with 2 hands. Mitchell is solid running the floor and I really like him trailing the ball handler and cleaning up.
Searcy had a really nice senior season and deserved to have his name added. The slippery and slick athlete was relied upon heavily by his Romulus team and he responded more than admirably. He was comfortable as a go-to scorer and got the job done by finding lanes and attacking the rim.
I was really impressed with Newbill when I was able to see him play this season. He was underrated as an overall athlete and showed solid straight line speed with and without the basketball. Newbill did a nice job finding space on the perimeter and making himself available for the pass. When he got looks from deep, he delivered.
I was able to see Stille play a couple times this season and needed to be a ranked player. I liked his versatility at the forward spot and his activity around the rim. He ran the floor well and could finish on the break. Stille is a solid 2 way player. His energy on the defensive end, I believe, has a lot to do with Skyline’s success this season.
Reynolds made this list and quite frankly could argue to be higher. He showed the ability to be a dynamic backcourt player. Reynolds has the ability to make plays and get buckets when his team needs them. A college coach could get a steal here, as I think he still has a lot of upside and he has the work ethic to reach it.
