Julius is a frontcourt player who settled into his role for the Spartans and was a key piece to the Spartan’s final-four run. He provided much-needed interior offense, and he was a solid disruptor defender. Julius really stepped up and provided needed point production for his squad, as they played a good bit of the season without their backcourt starter Kyle Layton Kyle Layton 6'0" | PG Mountain Brook | 2023 State AL . He is a #GameChanger because, at times throughout the season, he was the best frontcourt player on the court and dominated on both ends as well as on the glass. He finds himself as the #27-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.

Drake proved that he was one of the top scorers in the state this year. He went for huge numbers numerous times this year and is a shifty multi-level scorer. He is a competitive, tough, and aggressive guard that often imposed his will and carried Haleyville to huge wins. He is a #GameChanger because as long as he is in the game, he can put up numbers that give his team an advantage. His scoring ability was epic throughout the year. He finds himself as the #29-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.
Joey Robertson Joey Robertson 6'6" | SF Orange Beach | 2023 State AL (6’6/Wing/’23/Orange Beach HS)

Joey is a bug guard that can score at a high rate. Orange Beach has relied heavily on Jordan for offensive production, and he has provided it throughout the season. He was a key cog and the alpha guy for his team. He is a #GameChanger because he gave his team an advantage every time they were on the offensive end of the floor. He could score in droves, and his size was a major match-up problem. He finds himself as the #41-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.
Montez Dunson Montez Dunson 5'11" | CG Ramsay | 2023 State AL (5’11/PG/’23/Ramsay HS)

Montez is a tough lead guard that came off the bench for Ramsay and provided a spark throughout the year. He helped Ramsay be the favorite to win it all throughout the year with his defensive efforts and playmaking. His decision-making in big moments was huge throughout the year. He is a #GameChanger because when he came in off the bench, he allowed the Rams to play even faster as he played alongside Jalen Jones Jalen Jones 6'2" | CG Ramsay | 2023 State AL . With the speed that defenders faced with Montez and Jalen on the floor, it was almost impossible to contain the Ram’s backcourt. He finds himself as the #65-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.

Cade is an ultimate competitor and really led his team as a scorer and as an emotional leader. As his squad’s primary bucket-getter, he put his team in position night in and night out to compete for the win. He elevated his game throughout the year and consistently made plays for himself and for others. He is a #GameChanger because he was able to carry his team to a victory on any given night. He has game instincts and played with a lot of confidence. He finds himself as the #74-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.

Denali is a lengthy guard that could be looked at as a swiss army knife. He was a glue guy on the undefeated Valley team and impacted the game across the entire stat sheet. His offensive repertoire as both an initiator and scorer grew over the year, but it was his playing his role that his team needed on their championship role, which he provided. He is a #GameChanger because he was so versatile on both ends of the floor. He allowed Valley to play and win in multiple ways. He finds himself as the #83-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.
John Colvin John Colvin 6'4" | SG Mountain Brook HS | 2023 State AL (6’4/SG/’23/Mountain Brook HS)

John is a lethal shooter from behind the arc, and when the Spartans needed a perimeter guy to step up in the absence of Kyle Layton Kyle Layton 6'0" | PG Mountain Brook | 2023 State AL , John did so. He fits well in the Spartans system and was a complimentary backcourt piece to Ty Davis Ty Davis 6'5" | SG Mountain Brook | 2024 State #191 Nation AL . He is a #GameChanger because he is a very efficient scorer from behind the arc. His ability to knock down the three impacted every game he was in. He finds himself as the #86-ranked player in our final 2023 rankings.
