Avion Pinner Avion Pinner 6’9″ | PF Concord Academy | 2023 State NC has shown off his consistency in the Concord Academy rotation over the past two seasons, averaging 16.0 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 2.3 bpg while shooting 63 percent from the field. He finished the year off in double-double fashion, recording 23 points and 10 rebounds in the NCISAA 3A State Final against Greensboro Day School, though it came in a 58-56 defeat. He’s an unsigned senior that’s still on the board and should end up at a LM/MM program before the summer ends.

Jai Williams Jai Williams 6’3″ | SG Wayne Country Day | 2024 State NC is a guard that’s worked his way up the 2023 rankings in the final update with Wayne Country Day School. He showed he can create his own shot in the open floor and finish in traffic around the rim time and time again with the Chargers in 2022-23, averaging 12.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He’s a budding guard for DII and DIII schools to get eyes on out of the Goldsboro area.

Collin Kuhl Collin Kuhl 6’8″ | SF Holly Springs | 2023 State NC finds himself solidly within the Top 65 prospects in the state after a strong season with the Holly Springs Golden Hawks as they made it to this year’s 4A Region Finals. He was quite the presence around the rim and painted area this season as the Golden Hawks went 26-6 and 13-1 in the Southwest Wake Athletic Conference in 2022-23. He’s set to make an impact at the next level with the Georgia Southern Eagles in the Sun Belt Conference.
James McCreary James McCreary 6’1″ | SG North Surry | 2023 State NC is one name that climbed up the radar at North Surry High as they went 27-2 on the season and went unbeaten at 12-0 in the Foothills Conference in 2A play. He was one of two top scorers for them alongside Jahreece Lynch Jahreece Lynch 6’2″ | CG North Surry | 2023 State NC , producing 21.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.4 apg and 1.8 spg while shooting 48 percent from the field and 67-of-203 (33 percent) from 3-point land to close out his senior season. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs to get eyes on in the area given his ability to space the floor and knock down shots at volume.
Khalil Genwright Khalil Genwright 6’4″ | SF Laney | 2023 State NC had a strong finish in the Laney High rotation to close out his season as an unsigned senior. He led the way for them on the wing with his size and frame at 6-foot-5, finishing with numbers of 16.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 1.9 apg as their leading option on the offensive end. He showed he could lead the way on the rebounding front as well as he showed he wasn’t afraid to be a physical presence on the interior.
Elijah Burnett Elijah Burnett 6’1″ | PG Lincoln Charter | 2023 State NC was one of this season’s biggest stock risers as he moved into the Top 100 at No. 80 in the final rankings update for the 2023 class. He led Lincoln Charter School to a 13-0 conference record while averaging 17.1 ppg, 6.0 apg and 3.2 spg as quite the two-way presence for his squad. He’s a 6-foot-2 guard that plays with a ton of energy on the floor and can make plays for others in space.
