THE FAVORITE

(2) Franklin

The Sabres are hot at the right time. Franklin enters the playoffs having won 11 of their last 15 games since early January with two of those losses coming against ranked teams. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1200579' first='Will' last='Gardner'] continues to be one of the more undervalued players in the state. Gardner is putting up 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game for the Southeastern Conference champions.

TOP CONTENDERS

(1) Kettle Moraine

The Lasers have had a roller coaster season, but have taken down some big names this season, including Arrowhead and Brookfield Central. At 14-10 overall, Kettle Moraine finished fourth in the Classic Eight Conference. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1115917' first='Drew' last='Wagner'] leads the way at over 18 points per game.

(3) Muskego

Muskego can get offense from a lot of different places. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1489811' first='Aiden' last='Krause'] (16.3 ppg) and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1565402' first='Louie' last='Schwabe'] (12.9 ppg) are two physical and versatile forwards that give teams a lot of matchup problems. The Warriors bested 2-seed Franklin by nine points on Feb. 21 and also swept a ranked Catholic Memorial team this season.

DARK HORSE

(4) Kenosha Indian Trail

KIT has a big win over Westosha Central under its belt. The second place finisher in the Southeastern Conference, the Hawks also recently took 2-seed Franklin down to the wire and played them close twice. At 18-6 overall, KIT also has the best prospect in this sectional, junior forward MJ Stackhouse, who's averaging 22 points and nine rebounds per game.
