Every year underclassman emerges to the top college interests board and that one senior who gain interest from division-one college.
Deadric Fikes – 6’6 2024 Aldine Benjamin Davis
Fikes have helped lead Aldine Davis in the race for first while consistently causing problems offensively and defensively. Put up 28 points, 14 rebounds, one steal, three blocks, and two assists. One coach in his district called him, “A problem” cause of how much coaches have to game-plan for him. Strong as an ox and mobile like a horse. When he learns to stay out of foul trouble we can see some big numbers than he already puts up. Nice size hands to go along with the soft touch. The physical big man that has shaken up things in his district.
Cameroon Woodberry Cameroon Woodberry 6'6" | SG PSAT Academy | 2024 TX – 6’5 2024 PSAT
Woodberry has jumped up in the rankings with his role increasing. Some people question his move from Shadow Creek, but Woodberry has put some on the hush. Shooting the ball from the perimeter, and creating plays for others. What he impressed most is his shot off the dribble this year. The length he walks around with at 6’5 stands out. Defensively he can make it harder for his offensive opponent to get a clean shot attempt off. Woodberry has the measurements and skills to be a two-way player at the next level.
Kaden Judie – 6’5 2024 Good Vision Academy
Judie’s athleticism and strength are what sticks out for him. Have the ability to withstand contact and finish over bigger defenders. Judie already won two TAPPS rings with Alpha Omega Academy, three-time Defensive player of the year, and an MVP award to his name. Bring a tenacity to the game with how he attacks the rim. Have the ability to get chase down blocks. The forward plays with power added with finesse. Their versatility allows him to be successful at the wing position.
Anson Johnson Jr Anson Johnson Jr 6'7" | PF Texas City | 2024 State TX . – 6’7 2024 Texas City High School
Johnson is a protege-type player. Made a name for himself with how he can score downhill. He can play inside-out for his team. He can take opponents off the dribble with his long steps from the perimeter. Johnson can take a rebound, and turn it into a fast-break by himself. Plays with some of an advanced pace. He takes pride in blocking opponents’ shots. His body needs to get bigger which will help his offensive game easier. He looks to get a layup before shooting.
Noel Duplachin – 6’2 2023 Sharpstown High School
Duplachin simply put is a bucket. The guard can attack angles that allow him to get to the rim. Duplachin is an effective downhill scorer. He averages 22.8 points per game on 55% shooting. He leads his team in total scoring, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks. Sneaky in the passing lane coming out of nowhere for the steal. Keep a calm demeanor no matter the situation. Isolation player that can draw fouls.
Tillman Jaramillo – 6’2 2025 Seven Lakes High School
Mr. Jaramillo makes you put some respect on his name. Knock outside shooter, especially from the corner. Plays like an experienced varsity player in his first year. Make impact plays on both ends of the floor. Can overpower defenders in the paint. He plays his role, and creates plays by taking what the defense gives him. Goes straight to the post when a smaller guard is on him.
