Bryton was able to hit a fall away mid-range jumper to send his team into over time. He took the ball the length of the floor and he made a few moves to shake loose and make an incredible shot that got a friendly home court bounce. Bryton has been playing well and he has done some good things that make you really pay attention to his development. He is quick and gets low to the ground and at times it looks like he is shot out of a cannon the way he plays.
Do not over look a player like KJ Jenson KJ Jenson 6'0" | SG Bingham | 2023 State UT who has really turned things around and he is not only stretching the floor with his shooting his handle has also improved. He is getting by defenders and creating enough space to get solid looks at the rim. Defensively he has improved from game 1 and now moves well with those quick guards and even bigger guards he often has to defend.
Ike has really blossomed at the 3 this year with so many guards on roster he often has to play bigger but you need to watch him play this Spring and Summer. Ike is a 15 and 10 type of a player and will be a handful during the playoffs.
Really like the development we are seeing from this kid. He is being aggressive on the glass and that has really changed his game. He defends well and he is shooting the ball well. In a class that could see a lot of stock riser John is really putting himself in a great position. Brighton has a chance to make a run when John is aggressive like that.
Highlights
Do not miss out on watching this kid play. He has been shooting lights out at a high percentage and he has hit over 50 three-pointers this year. Really gets that ball up off of a great release. He can hit it on the move but if he has time he is most likely not going to miss. In the playoffs shooting is very important and he is going to have to hit over some bigger players when they get deep into the playoffs. He is up for it and with range he can can really make defenders come out. If you put him on the help side and you leave to guard the big you will pay with his shooting.
