Maxwell is one of the most accomplished players from the Dayton area in recent memory, just recently finishing up a great high school career. Maxwell is the all-time leading scorer at Oakwood high school and averaged over 20 PPG his Junior and Senior seasons. Maxwell has good size at the wing position and uses it to score around the basket on switches with his strength and touch around the rim. Maxwell played more of a 3-and-D role for All Ohio Red on the EYBL circuit with a few impressive games, most notably against Florida Rebels where he was perfect from the floor. Maxwell posted offers from Ohio, Akron, Kent State, Toledo and Radford but no new offers since August of 2021, suggesting his recruitment is wide open for a school to emerge late.
