Amauri Truax
Strong, athletic Point Guard that has the ability to change the game with his on ball defense, uses proper angles to shut down ball handlers. Offensively he is comfortable with the ball in his hands and can control the pace of a game. Offensively he proved capable of breaking down defenders off the dribble and finishing through contact at the rim. Has the ability to knock down 3’s off the dribble and also off the catch from drive and kick scenarios. Willing and capable passer, gets the ball to his teammates on time and on target.
Isaiah Sanders
Isaiah Sanders
Strong shooter from 3 point range, sets his feet on the catch and is able to get right up into a shot, capable of knocking down 3’s off the dribble as well as off the catch. In the game we watched, Isaiah finished with 7 three pointer (3 in the first quarter, 2 in the second and 2 in the fourth) and was the leading scorer in the game.
Knockdown shooter from 3 point distance and does a great job getting to the basket on “fly by” closeouts. Able to finish at the rim through contact and is a great foul shooter. In the game we watched, Jeremy knocked in 6 of 7 free throws in the fourth quarter to finish out a close game. Rebounds very well for a combo guard and has the ability to push it up the court in transition after a rebound. Extremely capable on defense whether on the ball or off the ball.
Corien Noble
Corien Noble
Sophomore guard/forward Corien Noble continues to display his skill and athleticism. Offensively he has the ability to score inside against smaller defenders, to knock down 3’s from drive and kick scenarios, and also to drive by slower defenders. Defensively he is capable of sitting in a stance and defending guards as well as using positioning to defend forwards in the post. Extremely effective from the dunkers spot and finishes above the rim on dump off’s.
Axell Camacho-Cintron
Axell Camacho-Cintron
Long, lanky and athletic combo guard. Can bring the ball up the court, handle pressure and initiate offenses and is also effective from the shooting guard position, consistently knocking down 3’s from kick out’s. Great passer all around and specifically makes good reads in ball screen situations. Very strong on ball defender and can change a game with his defense.
Antwan Darden
Antwan Darden
Sources say that the senior is relatively new to organized basketball and you wouldn’t know it by watching him hoop. Antwan has a great feel for the game and lets it come to him. Capable of knocking down 3’s off the dribble and off the catch as well. Able to score in the post against smaller defenders and capable of driving past slower footed forwards. In the game we watched, Antwan scored the first basket of the game by knocking down a 3 pointer after relocating to the corner on his teammates drive. Additionally, Antwan is comfortable in trenches and finished the game with 4 blocks and a high number of rebounds.
