Matthews is really starting to come into his own at times for the Barons. Shawn plays game very heady at times. He was able to connect on some open looks today while being active in the passing lanes on the defensive end. Shawn already has good size for his age and possibly could still be growing down the road. He already has a quick trigger from the perimeter and seems to have good shooting mechanics.
Nasir really lacks a true position for the Raiders on the floor. He seems to be most effective around the paint area just attacking the cup and working on putbacks. Void started his career at Clarendon Hall before coming over to Jefferson Davis Academy this past off season. Void really works his tail off down low in the paint at times more as a Junk Yard Dog. He averaged 11.9 ppg and 11.4 rebounds this season for the Raiders.
Loadholt was feeling a bit under the weather today but seemed to gut it out for the Raiders. Colson came into the game averaging 16.3 ppg, 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season. Loadholt plays the game very heady at times. He made some crisp passes today to set up his teammates. He finished with 13 points in the tough loss to Ragin Prep.
Payne really liked to work the corners of the floor for his shot. He seemed most comfortable knocking down shots from 3-point range than from anywhere else on the floor. Payne at times needs to be more shot ready to receive the ball. He does shoot the ball at a good clip when he lets it go. Wood finished with 18 points today in the Griffins win over Orangeburg Prep. Payne connected on 4 three-pointers.
Murphy plays at a very small school in Greenville. Ned really plays well with the ball in his hand and showed to have a nice little mid-range jumper. Murphy has great hands and was able to drop a few floaters along the way today. He has a thin frame and could still be growing down the road.
Burks was able to play both guard positions at times today for the Crusaders. He seemed at his best at getting downhill to the cup and showing good body control at the basket. Sam was able to finish drives through contact. He made the most of his opportunities at the foul line by converting free throws.

Brunson a left-handed guard was able to finish some drives to the basket today for the Titans. Courtlyn is a strong guard who really likes to play the game in attack mode. Brunson is one of the many young pieces of the Titans roster in the years to come for Head Coach Mike Teasley.
