<p>-Montezuma (16-6) advanced to the 1A District 9 final with a 72-61 victory at Moravia Saturday afternoon. The Braves moved on to meet No. 8 Baxter, 68-46 victors against Sigourney on Friday. </p>

<p>Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1765506' first='Brady' last='Boulton'] led Montezuma with 26 points (10-16 FG, 4-5 3PT FG) and six assists without a turnover against Moravia. Senior Gavin Strong chipped in with 24 points and four assists, and classmate [player_tooltip player_id='956886' first='Masin' last='Shearer'] notched 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals in the win. </p>

<p>-Exira-EHK (19-4) is heading to the 1A District 15 title game after topping Woodbine, 70-50, on Saturday. The Spartans were set to meet No. 4 West Harrison (21-1), 72-35 winners against West Monona Thursday. </p>

<p>-Lenox (14-9) survived Saturday with a 73-62 triumph against visiting Stanton. The Tigers advanced to meet top-ranked Grandview Christian in Tuesday's championship. </p>
