Trevon Bradley, 5’8 PG – Winooski High School Class of 2023
This kid has all the tools. Three-level scoring, facilitation, and a whole lot of defense. Trevon can completely control a game on both ends. He’s as good a passer as he is a scorer, and defense’s typically have to decide between giving up 25+ to Tre or a 15-10 game on buckets and dimes. Moreover, he’s an absolute hawk on the ball and off. His athleticism + agility is through the roof, and he tears up box scores. Two-way Tre and co. are seeded #1 in D3 and look to return to the finals once again.
Harry Geng Harry Geng 6'1" | PG St Johnsbury Academy | 2024 State New E , 6’1 G – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2024
The southpaw gets it done. Harry’s a natural 2-guard with sly off-ball movement and a sweet stroke, plus he can orchestrate the offense and create in a pinch. He’s a true two-level scorer at the rim and from deep, and his mid-range is coming along. Furthermore, he can key in defensively, get in the open court, and make plays. All in all, Harry’s smart with the rock, an efficient scorer, and a heady defender. St. J sits at the #3 seed with sights on a Final Four appearance.
Tyler Bergmans Tyler Bergmans 6'2" | SG South Burlington | 2024 State New E , 6’2 G – South Burlington High School Class of 2024
Tyler affects the game in so many ways. Bergmans is a highly reliable ballhandler and facilitator, someone who can quarterback a unit and get good shots possession after possession. He’s a relentless and controlled slasher with efficient finishing in the second layer. Additionally, he can defend 1-3 and some 4’s, and is likely the best rebounding wing in the state. Plus, he’s a timely help defender with good footwork. Unfortunately, Tyler recently went down with an injury but hopes to get back on the floor for the AAU circuit.
Zach Davis, 6’4 F – Colchester High School Class of 2024
With inside/out offense and nice mobility on both ends, Zach is a modern 4 who gets buckets. He’s constantly dialed in from deep, yet he can take smaller guys into the post and finish over the top. Colchester’s offense runs through Davis, and with all the attention he draws, he does a nice job feeding guys for open looks. Defensively, he’s a strong interior presence and he puts good work in on the glass. Plus, he can switch out onto perimeter when necessary. I’ll be interested to see if Zach and CHS can turn it up in the playoffs.
Riley Severy, 6’6 F – Spaulding High School Class of 2023
Highly skilled, smart, and willing to sacrifice, Riley has come to be one of my favorite guys to watch. Severy is a certified three-level scorer with the ability to make plays for others inside or out. Moreover, Severy anchors Spaulding defensively with his ability guard 3-5 and block shots. Plus, he boards at a high rate and is coast-to-coast threat with the ball in his hands. Severy’s no-frills, all-around game has been crucial as Spaulding goes into playoffs 20-0.
