Potomac School vs. Maret Notebook

<p><em>MCLEAN, VA</em> -- Maret outlasted Potomac School 56-52 on Wednesday night. Here are some notes from our observations.</p>   <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1489077' first='Elijah' last='Flowers'] | Potomac School '24</h2>   <p>At 6'7" Flowers is a knockdown shooter with size. He has a quick release and sets his feet promptly upon receipt. Flowers is a dangerous shooter while standing still or on the move. He also sees the floor very well and is a willing passer. Flowers also protects the rim. </p>   <h2>DJ Hill | Maret '26</h2>   <p>Hill is a scrappy point guard who relentlessly pressures the ball in the backcourt. He is a vigilant defender who constantly takes away air space from opposing ball handlers. Hill took a charge in this game. While in possession, he uses his quickness and change of pace to blow past defenders. </p>   <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='957050' first='James' last='Lerner'] | Maret '23</h2>   <p>Lerner is a skilled point guard. He is a threat from three but is also a creative passer who manipulates the defense with his eyes. </p>   <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1225263' first='Malchiah' last='Marable'] | Maret '24</h2>   <p>Marable was a factor on both ends of the court for the Frogs. He is a reliable low-post scoring option who can finish in a crowd. Marable is also a solid defensive anchor who shields the lane and cleans the glass. </p>   <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1049872' first='Alexander' last='Mostashari'] | Maret '24 </h2>   <p>Mostashari is a 6-foot-5 wing who shoots the ball with confidence. He hit multiple long-range jumpers both while standing still or on the move. Mostashari also did a solid job defensively and helped his team on the boards. </p>
