PH NorCal was in the gym the early part of the week for these 3 play-off games. Here's part III our standouts from our time in the gym.

February 20: CCS Open Pool Play: Serra 65, Santa Cruz 53
February 21: NCS DIII Semifinal: The Branson 61, Piedmont 40
February 22: CCS Open Pool Play: Sacred Heart Cathedral 72, Menlo Atherton 59

[player_tooltip player_id='1120018' first='Demeke' last='Smith'] 6'4 2024 G/W from Santa Cruz

He has good size and athleticism. He's improved his offensive productivity and looks comfortable handling, passing and looking for shots in half court, and transition. He has a good first step to take the defender off the dribble, from the baseline, and the top. He has a quick release when he shoots his jumper. He has the length, and lateral foot work to be a quality defender when locked in. 5pts, 4rebs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1803761' first='Finley' last='Keeffe'] 6'5 2024 W/F from The Branson

He's a long arm prospect with a frame to add muscle. He has good fundamental skills. He's not a stat stuffer but can hit the short jumper and score around the basket. His length and lateral movement allows him to defend scorers all over the court on the perimeter, and in the paint. He rebounds, and handles the ball with excellent passing and movement. We'll see more of him. 5pts, 3rebs, 2asts, 3blks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1739784' first='Kirby' last='Seals'] 6'5 2025 G/F from Santa Cruz

Standing around 6'5 or 6 he has work to do, but has the tools in the box to expand his game. He can handle in open court, he attacks the rim from different angles, he sees the court to make good passes. You can play him in the post area or on the perimeter. He has those long arms to disrupt the passing lanes, get out on shooters, and help on the boards. 6pts, 6stls.

Jerry Mixon Jr 6'3 2023 G/W from Sacred Heart Cathedral

At this point the athletic Mixon Jr is just having fun playing basketball. He'll be playing football at the University of Oregon. The thick guard has the handles, and body to get into the paint when he wants to. He's an excellent passer that sees the court, he'll hit 3's along the perimeter if let unattended. 9pts, 5asts, 1stl.

RI Miller 6'3 2024 Wing from Sacred heart Cathedral

He's another contributor on this team that plays football. The strong body Miller will throw it down if there's an opening from any angle when he gears up to assault the rim. He can handle, he used ball fakes to get space for a one dribble pull-up from 3. He had a floater along the baseline. He can defend. 16pts, 2-3's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264593' first='Zemaury' last='Erfe'] 6'0 2024 PG from Sacred Heart Cathedral

He's that pass first PG with excellent no look passing. He has good timing on the pass to catch defenders off guard. He has the shifty handle, a nice crossover dribble when attacks for dumps, and dishes in the paint. He has a floater and can hit the open 3ptr.

[player_tooltip player_id='1497987' first='Meka' last='Okereke'] 6'7 2023 Forward from Menlo Atherton

He's the one you throw lobs for, with good timing he'll stuff one down the rim from a miss. He'll block shots, defend the paint, and gobble up rebounds when he's locked in. He seems to get out of the flow at times, but he has the capabilities do damage around the rim with more work. 8pts, 6rebs, 2blks.
