Millennium at Hamilton: Freshman/JV Standouts

On Tuesday January 31st I attended the match-up of the 5A Millennium Tigers visiting the 6A Hamilton Huskies.   Before the varsity game I watched the younger two levels.   <h2>Here were some of the younger standouts</h2>   Freshman    [player_tooltip player_id='1776605' first='Isaiah' last='Rodriguez'] Millennium (Pictured)   A good size wing forward with a pretty shot from the three point line. He is a plus rebounder who can take it off the glass and go coast to coast. He has the floater game and takes longer strides to the rim to score in traffic. He will block shots and works well from the high post and can shoot it from mid-range.   Adrian Palma PG 5'5 2026 Millennium    A scoring lead guard with a soft touch on his three point shot off the catch. He has deep range with a fast shooting trigger. He will drive and kick and has a quick burst to get a step and will float it in once he touches the paint. His floater is the most polished part of his game.     Rafi Hill PG 5'10 2026 Millennium    A lefty point guard plays some on JV but does most of his work on the freshman team. He reads the floor and throws the pass to make the play. He can make the catch three and has a burst to get into the lane.    [player_tooltip player_id='1768199' first='Bryce' last='Neal'] Hamilton   A fluid power forward is a plus rebounder in and out of his area. He can score it in the post with fade aways, put backs and face-ups and runs the floor well like a wing. He is one of those all upside players.   [player_tooltip player_id='1776603' first='Diego' last='Gonzalez'] Hamilton   A high IQ combo guard had another good showing with deep range. He has a good feel and had one impressive touch pass after a steal. He is a very good passer and shooter. He takes long strides to get into the paint and he is a very good defender who gets a lot of rebounds, steals and deflections.   [player_tooltip player_id='1768200' first='Alex' last='Brown'] Hamilton   The top scorer on the freshman team has a polished pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. He goes through stretches making it look easy. He gets to the rim and is good in transition plus has three point range. He definitely loves it best from around 15-feet.   [player_tooltip player_id='2108697' first='Xavier' last='Collier'] SG 5'11 2026 Hamilton   A scoring guard had a good showing in this game. He can make the catch three with a quick release and moves without the ball to relocate to an open spot and can put his head down and get to the basket. He runs the floor well and makes many little plays that add up.   [player_tooltip player_id='1768201' first='Paxton' last='Tamylin'] Hamilton   A highly skilled point guard with a high feel. He has a beautiful looking shot when it comes off his hand. He also has quick hands to collect steals. He changes speeds well and can dribble thru traffic well with a tight handle with his left or right.   JV   [player_tooltip player_id='1776604' first='Tristen' last='Rhodes'] Millennium   One of the deeper guard shooters in the class with real volleyball line range and comes with a super quick trigger. He will pull-up off the dribble on a dime and let it launch in a blink of an eye. He has a tighter handle with his left in traffic and can burst into the lane. He likes the floater game and is a very good passer when he isn't shooting it from the parking lot.    [player_tooltip player_id='1776606' first='Dylan' last='Coday'] Millennium   A good sized freshman power forward is an efficient scorer inside with either hand. He runs the court, rebounds and blocks shots in his area at a good rate. His hands and IQ are very high and seems to be in the correct spot every play. The program likes his upside.   Dylan Eaddy PF 6'4 2025 Millennium   A physical power forward can step out and hit the three. He gets extra possessions with rebounds inside using his size and girth. He has quicker hands to collect steals and he can catch tough passes in the paint. He will score it fairly efficient around the basket.     [player_tooltip player_id='2298910' first='Amari' last='Fletcher'] SF 6'3 2025 Millennium   A long and lean finesse wing forward. He can catch and shoot from the three point line and uses his long wingspan to play the passing lanes and collect steals. Once he fills in, he will be tougher to handle.     Jeremiah Colbert PG 5'8 2024 Millennium     A fast point guard is a downhill attacker. He can hit the catch three and he has a super quick first step to get past his defender into the lane. He is a true pest on the ball defensively using his lateral quickness and quick hands.   [player_tooltip player_id='1768202' first='Marquice' last='Cole Jr'] Hamilton   A scoring combo guard has a tough euro game. He can hit the catch three plus scores on put backs with nice athleticism and a good motor to rebound. He can pass up the court showing nice court vision but he is very hard to keep out of the paint with his shift and speed with the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='2107154' first='Cameron' last='Clayton'] PF 6'4 2026 Hamilton    A fluid moving power forward is a good driver in the lane. He runs the floor well and is active on both sides of the court. He will finish off put backs from offensive rebounds and will block shots in his area.    [player_tooltip player_id='1770356' first='Isaiah' last='Terry'] Hamilton    A scoring guard showed some more flashes of what he can be. He has a nice euro game into the paint to score. He also had a beautiful spin move into a mid-range pull-up that got the crowd going. His length, speed with the ball, rebounding ability, defensive pressure and potential make him a player to track.   Cam Ehrlich SG 5'9 2025 Hamilton    A stocky framed scoring guard is a catch and shoot three point shooter and runs in transition for layups. He comes off of screens sharply and lets it fly very quickly. He is a tough on-ball defender and stretches the floor for the JV team.   [player_tooltip player_id='1768203' first='Adam' last='Slater'] Hamilton    A lefty scoring point guard. He is a good passer and can find teammates in traffic. He has a nice burst with his dominant left and can make the open triple off the catch.
