From the opening jump the 21-2 Arrowhead Warhawks took it to the 17-6 the Hilltoppers’s, simply, by being the more aggressive team on the boards. Arrowhead was mostly in control, in the first half, but there were three lead changes in this period. These were powered by the timely 3-pointers of TJ Adams & Cade Kohmen, both hitting three behind the arch shots.
Even though Arrowhead lead by only one at the break it all came together, for them, in the second half. They seem to control almost every aspect of the game, to lead by as much as 14 to16 points. Arrowhead’s ability to hit 3-pointers that were just through the heart types of plays and then being near perfect from the line were just too much for Marquette. The game ended 88-74 Warhawks.
