Continue ReadingThe Falcons continue to fly through their conference competition with their latest win coming against Purnell Swett, setting up the rematch between 71st and Lumberton next week. The play of this young man has been a huge part of their success with his latest showing being a 22 Point performance in the win. Schools at the D3 and JC levels have been showing a high amount of interest in him and a strong finish to the season should only help his recruitment.
He continues to grow up right before our eyes and at this point it seems like the game is truly slowing down for him. In their matchup with Terry Sanford, he scored the ball from multiple levels with high efficiency and finished with a team high of 22 Points.
Highlights
Put together an amazing game against Roxbury Community with a school record of 51 Points. He understands how to get to his spots without much of an issue and can really fill it up scoring wise in a hurry. College coaches that are looking for a Guard should definitely take a look at him; he is a player that competes at a high level regardless of who he is matched up with.
His impact on the game cannot simply be measured by his stats, he brings the energy and effort for his team and has developed into one of the best perimeter defenders in the area. On the offensive side of the ball, he plays the game within the flow of the team offense and has impressive three-point shooting range.
Highlights
One of the better two-way players in the area, the impact that he made in their matchup with Lumberton was very impressive. He caused all types of issues on the defensive end of the floor while providing a team high of 20 Points in the win.
His team struggled to get things going in their matchup with Pine Forest, but he was one of the bright spots for the Pirates, scoring 16 Points while also providing a good number of assists and rebounds. The unselfishness that he plays the game with is rare to see these days but it’s one of the attributes that we feel will help him transition to the next level smoothly.
