Evan Eaton Evan Eaton 6'2" | CG Rice Memorial | 2025 State New E , 6’0 G – Rice Memorial High School Class of 2025
Eaton is one of those guys who could start on most teams around the state, but with a senior-heavy and guard-heavy Rice squad, he’s served as a spark plug off the bench. Evan’s all-around game includes two-level scoring abilities from three and inside the paint, and his mid-range is coming along. Moreover, he’s an exceptional athlete and a two-way player who defends 1-3. Eaton is in the upper echelon of the class of 2025.
Freddie Bacon, 5’9 PG – Colchester High School Class of 2026
I’ve been impressed with how seamlessly Freddie has stepped into a starting role for a D1 Metro team. His composure elicits that of an upperclassman as he handles ball pressure with ease and facilitates a senior/junior heavy squad. Freddie makes smart decisions with the ball and finds his scoring within the flow of the offense. Moreover, he’s shown impressive wit on the defensive end. Bacon is atop the class of 2026.
Cooper McCurley, 5’10 PG – Essex High School Class of 2026
A crafty point guard with a natural feel for the game, I get the sense that Cooper understands this game deeply. He makes the simple play with the rock in his hands, whether that be taking a driving lane and finishing on the weak side or swinging the ball and relocating to keep the defense working. Plus, he grinds defensively yet rarely gambles. McCurley is smart, steady, and reliable.
Phil Bean, 6’2 F – Fair Haven Union High School Class of 2025
The big man down south has been a critical force for a Fair Haven team who’s vying for a championship run. Bean is a mobile forward who can defend 3-5 with his footwork and strength. Moreover, Phil is a two-way rebounder with his second chance finishing and quick outlets defensively. Plus, he runs the floor and can get out in front for easy buckets. Plus, he has a couple of tools in his post arsenal. Keep watch.
Kerrick Medose, 5’11 G/W – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025
Kerrick’s smooth and steady game has been a key feature of St. J’s backcourt. Medose’s game includes a tight handle, nice change of space, and heady relocation off-ball. He’s effective with or without the ball with his ability to knock down open looks or attack closeouts and make plays in the second layer. Plus, he can defend 2-3 and some 4’s with his strength and early work inside. Kerrick is solid and high IQ.
Clayton Foster, 5’9 G – Montpelier High School Class of 2025
It’s the little things that make a big difference, and Foster makes a huge impact even though he doesn’t jump off the stat-sheet. Clayton’s wise off-ball defense and snappy rotations give opponents fits. And once he’s on-ball he’s a pest with his quick footwork and work ethic. Moreover, he’s a quick decision maker with the ball in his hands, knowing when to attack the cup, work the ball, and shoot his shot. Foster knows the game intuitively.
