Rex Hauser Rex Hauser 6'5" | SF St. Johnsbury Academy | 2025 State New E , 6’1 G/W – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025
With Rex you have someone who jumps for the tip, brings the ball up the floor, and defends 1-3 in man-to-man coverage. He’s versatile with his ability to rebound the ball and make plays in the open court. In the halfcourt, Hauser finds much of his scoring around the rim, off of both off-ball cutting and slashing from the perimeter, plus he can facilitate and get St. J. into their stuff. Rex is intriguing to say the least.
Dallas St. Peter, 5’10 G – Rice Memorial High School Class of 2025
A quarterback on the court, Dallas understands clock management, tempo, and relishes crunch time. He’s found himself on the varsity squad after a recent roster shake up, but earlier in the season I caught the tail end of a 3OT thriller in which St. Peter made big play after big play. He has fantastic change of pace + direction as he handles ball pressure easily with his tight handle. Plus he facilitates with ease while scoring the rock at all three-levels and he defends with great effort. I love his game.
Dez Krakowka, 6’1 W/F – Mount St. Joseph Academy Class of 2025
I’m really interested to see where Dez takes his game. The southpaw is a two-way force inside the paint with his stout frame, athleticism, footwork, and anticipation around the rim. Krakowka can go to work in the post and he is highly efficient in there, plus he sees the floor well and hits cutters/shooters on time. Moreover, he can step out to three, pull the bigs out, and knock down threes. He defends 3-5 and rebounds at a high level too. I’ve got eyes on Dez.
Brendan Moodie, 5’9 G – Hazen High School Class of 2025
Moodie encapsulates Hazen’s high effort + high IQ identity. Brendan sees the floor well in both the halfcourt and transition. He makes heady advance passes in the open floor, and in the halfcourt he hits cutters with crisp and timely lasers. Moodie has smart moves getting to the rim too, and his scrappiness around the iron is a joy to watch. Moreover, he’s an electric defender who rotates quickly and gets in passing lanes. Brendan can play.
Jack Lafayette, 5’9 G – South Burlington High School Class of 2026
I get the sense that Jack is that player who will go out on the floor and do whatever is asked of him. He’s capable of creating scoring for himself and others. Yet on a guard-heavy squad he’s found his role as a high-effort defender, ball-mover, and open court threat. Moreover, Lafayette’s disposition is steady, smart, plus he puts in a ton of work that doesn’t show up on the stat-sheet. Jack is a hooper.
