Goodpasture is the PrepHoopsTN favorite in D2-A, with as many as three D1 players in the starting lineup, and recent Flagler-commit [player_tooltip player_id='1236473' first='Jack' last='Carter'] for good measure. [player_tooltip player_id='1259393' first='Jayden' last='Jones'] is unstoppable in the open floor and point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1259395' first='King' last='Keary'] is so tough to keep out of the vulnerable areas. [player_tooltip player_id='992516' first='Isaiah' last='West'] is a very patient attacker from either wing and in the last year he evolved into a more disciplined passer. Wednesday night Isaiah threw a two-handed chest pass 70 feet to a blazing [player_tooltip player_id='1259393' first='Jayden' last='Jones']. The best sophomore in the land caught the ball a half-step before he smashed it through the cylinder. Gorgeous play, unmatched athleticism.

Grace Christian operated most smoothly when they ran backdoor cuts into sharp dribble-hand off action out high. They lacked the physical advantage that they owned in their district tournament, as the hosting Cougars mitigated the impact of C.J. Tinnon and the other bruisers.

[player_tooltip player_id='992516' first='Isaiah' last='West'] forced his way into the lane, and calmly executed an 8' turn-around jumper. His patience in traffic really made a tough opportunity into an easy finish.

FINAL: 60-44 Goodpasture.

Columbia Academy (73) vs. Clarksville Academy (55)

Columbia Academy is both a fantastic offensive juggernaut as well as a wildly inconsistent defensive unit.

Late in the first half, [player_tooltip player_id='1241383' first='Eddie' last='Ricks III'] followed a missed layup with a tip-in. The bucket gave the Cougars their 40th point. Then they scored again on another offensive rebound.

Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1683672' first='JaRohn' last='Johnson']'s rebounding decimated the hosts.

Columbia Academy just struggles to keep teams from scoring in the paint, which is frustrating considering their decent size.

At the half, 43-31 Clarksville Academy comfortably lead.

FINAL: 73-55 Clarksville Academy

Webb School-Bell Buckle (67) vs. Friendship Christian (58)

Webb was unstoppable in their district tournament, though the league was not easily won in the regular season. Friendship Christian made the Feet look beatable for most of the thrilling regional quarterfinal matchup. The game was 55-54 Webb, after a beautiful three-pointer from the wing. [player_tooltip player_id='1368094' first='Arnett' last='Hayes'] answered with a crafty slash. The sophomore star continues to play like a superstar. He finessed a turn-around floater seconds later. Just a special player with unending basketball confidence and acumen.

[player_tooltip player_id='1498078' first='Jax' last='Howard'] again played well, evading traps and maintaining possession as Webb lead late. He is a capable "time-whittler" for a team that constantly needs to drain the clock to secure their wins.

FINAL: 67-58 Webb.
